Come on Glen. Get it done
We don't have money though.
You don't need money. Can't we trade our 2nd and Tony or just Tony or even a future draft consideration?
Toney Douglas has very little value now. Hopefully we can trade him for a 2nd rounder at least.

Definitely is, what's crazier is a few of them may not even get drafted.
In another thread I said that we could get an undrafted rookie to take Laundry's spot. Then a mod called me stupid. Sometimes I want to curse these nerdy internet bullies out but I like posting every other week so I simply let it go

Is Harkless really a fit/need though? He's basically a SF. Sure real nice talent, could have a good NBA and would be nice to see him in a Knick uniform, but SF is the last position the Knicks need any help in. Considering that there's talk he could go lottery, I would think if they were going to trade up that far that they should be looking at a player that would fill a greater need. If the Knicks somehow manage to move that far up they'd be better off looking at Marshall or Taylor at point, Dion Waiters at SG or someone like Leonard or Moultrie in the front court. Don't get me wrong, would be nice to have Harkless but don't see it.

Yannis Koutroupis: Former Seton Hall point guard Jordan Theodore had a strong showing at a workout with the New York Knicks.

While that may be true, I honestly wouldn't look to do that.
Fields main issue is he shouldn't have changed his shot, but I would be looking to add to the team, which imo, is adding pieces and keeping Fields.

Yes to Sims, Sacre no. Have you seen him play? He's atrocious and is about as mobile as a tree. Even Moo said he's like a present day Gadzuric lol.
I like Sacre. Strong/solid rebounder and defender. I also liked Rick Jackson and their similar players.

I was just looking through some of DXs comparisons
A funny one is Jae Crowders..."Best Case: Shorter, Saner Ron Artest"

and Jared Cunningham.."Best Case: Jeremy Lin"

I wouldn't mind drafting Jae Crowder, he's a good defender, & could play & guard SF & PF at 6'6. I read he was one of the most improved players in college so that shows a lot & that he works hard & that only means good things for his NBA career. Putting Shump, Crowder, & Chandler on the court at the same time would be hell for the opposing teams offense.

Rick Jackson i like. Sacre otoh is just too slow. Especially for this team. Sacre is a paint clogger. Hell probably have the highest 3 second violation per minute played in the NBA. Just not a fit on a team that needs to clear the paint area congestion somehow. He is a big boy and should be hard to move but his lack of foot speed and overall marginal skills will result in him spending most of his time on the bench (the top notch bigs like Howard and Hibbert will be able to exploit his lack of mobility so really not a great gain there). Jerome Jordan would make more sense if the Knicks are looking to integrate a young backup caliber big...much more mobile and can apply more ball pressure. Hes the type that will probably end up in China or Russia and have a healthy career there. Not really an NBA caliber player IMO.
