You Call It!!!

Postby Zubby on Mon Jun 11, 2012 10:52 am

Seems every year a couple of us claim to have called so&so player being a star. (namely Max & I)

SO

Anyone else wanna publicly peg a player in our draft range who will be a big time player?
I'll pull this thread up next year and the year after and lolz at any fail picks.

You can only call one player. Though maybe we should a 2nd for 2nd rounders/undrafted... then I could also claim Orlando Johnson(next James Harden)

Z3Snap - Jared Sulliger
MaxRider - Marquis Teague
Thomas_11 - Tony Wroten
Zapatasblood - Perry Jones III
-X- - Royce White
rocketseagles07 - Perry Jones III
CollegeBoy - Terrance Jones
TMU - ???(Don't be scared make a pick!) or was it Damian Lillard?

Sullinger is within our draft range? I'd be very surprised if he's still on the board after #11.

I don't think there will be any future stars around where we pick.

If I had to pick one I'd probably go with Royce White.

As long as Sulliger and PJ3 dont go top 5, I'd say we can move up for them = in our range.

Anyway I see PJ3 dropping, maybe out of the lottery.

I doubt Sullinger drops past the 10th pick. Hands down the most cerebral big man and the best low-post scorer in this draft. But I'm most impressed with Damian Lillard. The guy has a lot of talent and seems very confident with his ability.

Outside the lottery picks, I agree with X. I don't think there's any future stars, but I guess we'll have to see.

If lillard wasn't from such a small school he'd be a top 5 pick easily.... agree 100%

I would say Rivers, but he went to Duke, so..... I'll go with Terrance Jones.

Im surprised no one has picked Rivers, but Jones is a strong pick imo.

He's got the Duke curse. Now the most he can hope for is to become a solid role player.
