Bulls get- Wright, Harris, #7 and 2nd rd pick or picks not fully sure on the 2nd rd stuff yet

Jazz get- Bieds, 29, 30, Bulls 2013 1st and another Bulls player (in the past I know Utah like Watson)

Warriors- Deng

Other things could be involved but this is what I got so far

The 2013 1st better be protected.

Wright and Harris outscore Deng together. Plus the #7 pick will be a good player.

Solve the missing SF, and Backup PG problems and you can take a PF or SG at 7.

I think I like that deal Harris is an expiring deal plus a PG who can play with Rose. Wright is still a young player, juts really wondering who the Bulls like @ #7

Thanks buddy

1. Sorta puts together my thoughts and the thoughts many others have vocalized tonight. To get pick #7 and if the Bulls are the ones orchestrating this trade, it still screams Jeremy Lamb. And I would love Lamb. I'm not hell-bent on trading Deng, actually don't want to, but if the Bulls fully believe we can get the #2 legit scorer next to Rose, then it's a must trade. If Lamb is it, which I hope so, then go for it. I still think we are giving up too much. We give up #29 and next year's pick? The Warriors are not giving up too much on their end to Utah. I would want #35 to come to us.

2. Jazz make out like bandits in this deal.

3. With all the Gasol rumors, we wanted Harris. Makes sense.

4. We roll out Harris/Rip/Wright/Boozer/Noah next year with a bench of #35 pick, Lamb, Taj, Asik and prolly a Vet Min player. Not a bad team. But not sure how much better we are in the near future to be honest. Lamb better ball.

That would be a pretty solid deal, actually.

Rose/Harris
Rip/Lamb
Wright/JB
Booz/Taj
Noah/Omer

We stay under the tax too I believe.

Any chance we could get #2 for #7 + CHA pick?

I like this trade if it happens. As I mentioned in other threads, we have to create as many chances as possible to put impact players around Rose and Noah. This leaves us cap space for 2014, plus we could get a really nice player at 7. With Mirotic and the CHA pick, odds are we can put a group together that can contend.
Chaos isn't a pit. Chaos is a ladder.

Wright and Harris doesn't save us any money immediately though. Add in the salary of the #7 pick, and the Bulls are probably taking in more money.

Turns one starter into 2, while nabbing a bench scorer.

I'd like that trade as Ralph lined up. Wright is fun to watch when he's on his game. Lamb could be awesome with Rose!

7th pick + Cha Future pick for pick 2.

Draft Beal. We can dream can't we? Personally I don't think we'll trade Deng.

We would have to let both Brewer and Korver walk to stay under the LT if we also wanted to re-sign Asik.

Rose/ Harris/ Lucas
Rip/ Lamb (hopefully)/ Butler
Wright/ Butler/ vet min
Boozer/ Taj
Noah/ Asik

With Mirotic & the Bobcats pick still in tow.
Harris & Wright would represent $12.6 million in expiring contracts if we still wanted to make a bid for Dwight down the road.

Yes, but it will push the Bulls into the luxury tax for 10 players, assuming Asik is kept and gets an MLE starting salary.

15,000,000 (Boozer)
5,000,000 (Hamilton)
15,506,632 (Rose)
11,300,000 (Noah)
2,155,811 (Gibson)
1,066,920 (Butler)
4,106,000 (Wright)
8,500,000 (Harris)
5,000,000 (Asik 1st year re-signed)
2,798,040 (#7 pick signed to 120% of first year salary)

Ehh, kind of a poor deal to give up Deng and 2 1st rounders to get #7, Dorrell Wright, and Devin Harris.

It's the story of Salmons' career. He is only effective if he's used as a scoring option.

I would say that applies to Ben Gordon, as well.

Gordon scored 13 on 44%/43% in less than 27 minutes last year.

He's just on a team that has 8 other guards.

That's actually a good-looking roster. The deal will do wonders for the bulls because they get an expiring contract in harris who'll be our starter while rose is out, shooter in wright, and a scorer at #7 with lamb or even waiters. i like this deal a whole lot.
