It happened again today. I don't click on anything on the page.

So, I used the Windows 7 "Clipping Tool" to show you the commercial. It doesn't happen every day as you can tell, but it happens every few days where a commercial is popping through with actual sound.

And, this has nothing to do with mouse overs or clicking being I usually click on a link to visit a thread and then go back to work while it loads. Usually, when I hear the sound of the commercial it comes as a surprise being I am at work and usually on a spreadsheet working when I hear it.

I just came across the ad myself and identified the source, so it won't appear again. Thanks for your help.

A McD's ad on the righthand banner fails to render fully on my screen and gives off a multicolor strobe effect.

I saw the same effect with the McDonald's ad last week. I haven't seen the issue happen again though. Have any of you?

Oh yeh, I almost forgot. I had sound yesterday on the forums from a Target advertisement. Looked like a commercial with a lady speaking as if she was a news reporter. I took a screenshot crop (windows 7 cutting tool) while at work. Just thought I would mention it in case you are interested. Let me know if you want me to post the pic. -BMP

Nope. Haven't heard a single sound since that one time. My post was just an FYI.

There's a new risque ad with boxing gloves and a women in her nighties...and I think I can see her nipples? My girlfriend just looked over while I was on the forums and got mad at me. :(

We have turned on all filters to exclude any type of risque ads, but some slip through occasionally depending on the criteria. I haven't seen the ad so I can't identify where it came from unfortunately. A screenshot would help in the future, but I'll be on the lookout as well.

Is it possible that the ad you are seeing is from an underlined text? We don't have any ads that auto-play sound around the edges of the site. But I just saw an ad that plays sound when scrolling over.

I have had sound coming from the Obama and all sorts of Ad's all day today. And, I never once hovered over them. Usually, I click a link go to my Outlook while it is loading or aCad work. Then, about 30 seconds will go by before I all of a sudden hear sound. Happened about 6 or so times today. Just an FYI.
