The only stats I expect to be a direct result of AK being in the game are opposing SF putting up horrible shooting percentages, and Timberwolf Wins. A block or two would be nice as well.

AK isn't a great one on one defender. He's isn't even a great help defender anymore. That said, he's still a fantastic, versatile team defender. He's just not going to blow you away with what he does. He will make your team better on that end.

On offense, he's a point forward at his best. He's a great passer. Great court vision. Terrible at posting up. Don't play him inside, ever. But he understands sets, is very smart, and as long as he's playing with players who get him he will be great.

Congrats Wolves, you've picked up my third favorite player ever. I was following ever since you picked up Rubio (nearest thing to Stockton I've ever seen in the PnR), but now it's a no brainer.

28 minutes, 11.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.2 blocks, 1.4 steals, .570 TS%

The A in AK stands for Anarchy, he's going to be all over the place on offense and defense.

Sign me up for that! I would be ecstatic with that kind of production. Not many guys can do what AK does.

Yep, more time at the 3 for sure. Although I would expect to see some small ball lineups with Love at the 5, AK47 at the 4.

I'm most excited to see the brief periods where that is the post configuration. I think that's when he'll be most productive.

AK is only effective 4 in foreign ball or GSW style run and gun. Bad half-court player at 4 since you can't post him up, and he's not a great stretch 4 either. You have to buy into the point-forward/small ball role for that to work.

For sure, and he will definitely get more than 2 APG. He will bring you guys to another level anong with Rubio and Love. Will be sick to watch. Will be streaming minnesota games over Jazz games unless things get exciting over there. Your team is awesome.

They should be very fun to watch, hopefully they'll win more than they lose as well. :)

hustle and effort that will hopefully spread to others on the court, veteran leadership on a young international squad in the closing moments, some acrobatic finishes and rejections and around 10-12 point, 5-6 boards, 5+ assists (adelman likes using his bigs out of the high post while the guard go backdoor i suspect AK will pick up alot of dimes like this), and maybe 1.5 each thefts/blocks and probably another 3-4 hustle plays that create turnovers, also 50/50 balls, etc. that's his forte and where he'll really help.

that's the point i was trying to make you said it first

i can forsee a vlade divac type role here for AK in the wolves offense, and if im not mistake vlade used to post up 5+ assists per game on that wildly entertaining, unselfish and deep Kings squad

3.7 assists playing with rubio?? im not sure about that

Jazz fan here and huge AK fan. He did average 4 assists per game playing with Deron.
12,6, 3, 1.5, 1.5 if he gets more than 30 minutes a night. If he gets 35 minutes a night and gets involved in the offense, wouldn't be surprised if he was putting up 15, 7, 4, 1.5 and 2 blocks.

The key to AK is he needs to feel involved in the offence, the more involved he is the better his all around game comes out. I really don't think it matters if he plays PF.
