I only did top 10. I had you about the 12-15 range. I don't trust Carmelo as the number one option. It's a competitive playoff team, but I don't think it's a top 10. The bench is really good as are your big men, pretty much 2-3 deep everywhere, but it's just the fact that I don't trust Melo as a top player. I could be wrong though!

It's not "Denver syndrome" it is "Rondo syndrome"...

As in people still don't see a guy who can almost average a triple double in the playoffs as a superstar. Jason Kidd puts up similar numbers years ago and is considered one of the greatest PG's of all time.

The fact that Rondo isn't viewed as the #1 PG in the league blows my mind. It's simply because they guy doesn't put up huge scoring numbers.

Rondo is EASILY a top 10 player in the NBA - not just in terms of fantasy or B-a-T.

No problem, I was kind of kidding, but I thought there was a chance you happened to use my rankings to look at the rosters instead of the team display thread. I definitely disagree with a lot of your opinions and I feel that I have a top team, but I appreciate that you actually took the time to do a ranking.

Why don't you think Melo is a top player?

Well I definitely feel that your team is not similar to Denver. I personally have Rondo as the 10th best player in the league, I feel that Pau is definitely in the top 20, and I'd take EG over anyone on Denver except Iggy.

I also don't feel Rondo's the best PG in the league. I'd definitely take Chris Paul and Derrick Rose above him.

Not sure why my Sixers are getting disrespected. Would've figured I was a lock for top 10. I call foul play. ;)

I'd take a 100% healthy Rose over him...but we are a long time away from even seeing if that is possible.

By taking Paul, you are basically saying you value scoring more than passing. Rondo is a better defender & passer than Paul - granted, not by much - but he is. I'll take Rondo over Paul...Paul is definitely #2 though.

Pretty spot on list.. I think the gap between Wade, Rondo, and Kobe is all pretty minimal though. Those guys could be swapped around

So when is a final decision being made? If we are averaging together the results from all three judgements - I believe I would take the crown... finishing 2nd, 3rd, & 4th in each ranking.

I went looking for it after reading that but couldn't find anything. What exactly was on the gen board?
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

^^ I posted this Monday I believe, asking for judging help cause it woulda been brutally disappointing to have had the BaT end like the way it was and is heading:

viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1202311

Eastern Magic, Lin, and the Celtics team (among others) got some love, too.

Well we have 4 judging votes and then the thread that Willy made.. so if we combine them we can come to a consensus.

I don't really think that there is a good way to decide a winner unless we can find a judge or have more peer rankings submitted. The replies on Wily's general board thread seemed to not have much thought put into them. I guess we could just compile the average scores of the rankings we have, but that would be difficult since you and Wily only did a top 10 and Wily did a separate win now and win future rating.

Maybe we could wait and see if anyone from the Knicks board will do it after their BAT. Also, there was one poster that responded to Wily's inquiry there for judges and said maybe, so we could ask him again.

I still dont get why us judging is a bad thing. I said it was like that from the start and nobody had a problem until recently.

We're the most involved, their should be no "bias" towards voting. I just say we count ours, add it up by points = 10 points for 1st place, 9 for 2nd, 8 for 3rd, etc.

May as well do something and get this over w/ and as far as the thread I made on the Gen Board, who cares if they didn't do a whole write up, I posed a question and guys were cool enough to respond and the fact is we got more replies from there, from peeps who don't give a good u know what about this build a team, yet the ones who supposedly did have gone ghost, long before the pimp thread.

Another thing that was stated was there would be 3 judges, Skin, eyriq and someone else and while eyriq does have a horse in this race, he hasn't even responded either not to mention no word from anyone else.

We just allowed for too much time between the end of the draft and the final decision. I like how the Knicks do the judging...if you participate, you have to judge. Otherwise, you can't win.
