I lol'ed at the picture, but we're just debating, it may seem like a pissing contest but that's just because theman picked this topic lol. give me other players to compare and I'll do the same.

theman wrote:I'll give you Dragic and even Galinari/Batum being a draw, but Freeland can not be rated currently any higher than Drummond. At best that is a draw..

But no way can you can rate Odom higher the Henderson. Henderson has improved every year in the league and will likely improve more this season. Henderson out preformed Odom in every category other than turnovers. And Odom is getting worse, fast.

henderson cant shoot 3s and doesn't give you steals, he doesn't shoot the FT% that good either. that's why he ranked around 150

I love henderson and his style but that doesn't mean he's a good fantasy player.

and you are saying Odom is getting worse fast? only because he didn't wanna play for the team he was traded to? he may be a d*ck but his talents didn't deteriorate, he just wasn't willing to play. now he's back home in LA and I think he will be better than henderson for sure. unless henderson somehow starts shooting 1-1.5 3ptm and above 80% FT

and Drummond shot 29% from the free throw line, which just plummets his fantasy value.

Henderson is a career .769 ft shooter vs. Lamar's .689.

Lamar won't even be starting in LA will he?

Who would he start in front of? Griffin? Jordan? Butler?

Thanks everyone for signing in. Once we finish up the last round of the draft, I'll input the rosters!

I think Lamar Odom will likely end up as the 3rd string SF behind Butler and Hill.

Ok, if I had looked first, I would have seen that we have in fact finished the draft. Nice work everyone! That was less than a month, wasn't it?

Ok, I'll get things inputted asap.

Here we go again.

What gives someone (in this case floppy, ugh) the right to jump in front of everyone else and add a player? If Floppy wants a player, he should follow the waiver process. He should be allowed to add a certain player to his roster only after that player clears the waivers, or if his waiver priority is high enough.

So obviously I'll follow whatever the rule is. I'm going by what the commish has told me.

But if I'm going to argue for a particular rule, I would think that drop/adds should be allowed on the board up until preseason starts, and after that should be through waivers. My reasoning is just to balance the pain of losing a guy for the year before the season starts with the right to use your waiver priority to draft someone who is breaking out. The "breaking out" of other players doesn't start in earnest until preseason, so that seems like the time to switch to waiver priority.

When did he ever start in the last 4-5 years unless Bynum was injured?
Only people who NEVER watched odom can put him at sf. He is a pf and the clippers front court needs him. Since he became a laker, he almost never played sf..

I'd like to point out that this league has always allowed an add drop on this board. That's how it's been since day one until the league rosters are put in on Yahoo.

Secondly, because there's no IL, did we abolish the waiver waiting period? I just see no point of it. It's not like we need it to buffer streaming either, with a very low moves limit. The first several years of this league, we had no waiver waiting period. It wasn't implemented until they abolished the IL in the 2005 CBA. So, it would make sense : No IL, no waiver period

very nice!! again a non-basketball issue is being discussed!

we are allowed to add free agents on the boards until the rosters are registered on yahoo, the priority goes to gm who posts it first. once the rosters are registered on yahoo, everything is on yahoo. that is the rule

There's no such rule. You won't be able to show a single source saying so.

Even if there was, I am trying to point out that it is flawed. Turning it into a personal attack like you do is not adding to the discussion.

So I'm expecting a new writeup from WB now that Frye is gone and Koufos is present. That changes everything. WB, how far did I move up?
