Post#1 » by pohani komarac » Sun Oct 14, 2012 9:27 pm

I think this kid deserves his own topic as he is projected as lotto pick

here you can see full game of Barcelona B vs Alicante in 2nd Spanish division, senior competition, very strong for kids. They won game whille Hezonja (nbr. 8) had 26 points in 23 minutes where he showed his scoring potential, especially when he puted show in 3rd quater. But also showed few times good pick and roll game., and some impruvments at defense and of ball game wich is still below averge, but good impruvment has ben made

Also other there are other intresting prospects to see. here is roster and stats:

add. Milovan Draskovic 7'0 95. is missing on roster, but he played and got 4min

here some Hezonja highlights, most of them when he was 16

i finally saw this kid in live action recently at the U17s. he looks taller than 6'7 now. great physical tools, effortless range and is a very graceful leaper with effortless athleticism. he needs to work on his shot selection, his floor game (maybe it was the setting and his role on the team, but he didn't look like a willing passer) and playing with more consistent effort. he showed very good anticipation skills defensively getting a bunch of steals, but he plays a little too upright for my liking.
great prospect physically and in terms of skill. needs to work on the mental aspects of the game imo.

yup....he got 5min. against dallas, at end of game he went to carter and shake his hand and there was atlest one inch difrece. since he is 17 he can still get inch or bit more

yup he is also selfish and cocky, but i folowed him sice he was 13 when he debuted on senior level and he did mature bit, but still way to go in this aspects

once again hezonja changed game in 2nd half

so far Barcelona B is 3-1, Hezonja leads league in scoring. 20pts in just 25 minutes

All games are uploaded to the youtube channel of the spanish federation. Unfortunately with no sound.

If you want to try to measure the elements of basketball that are supposedly unmeasurable, spend a game just watching Marc Gasol.

Pohani,

Zasto moraju svi Jugoslovaki tako sporo trcat? Vidim da moze skakat, ali nekad nevidis nekog koji moze da burzo trci!

* Dear Pohani,

Why do all Yugoslavians move so slowly? Yes, some can jump, but you never see these guys outspeeding an entire team's defense the way guys like Tony Parker do.

He is the one exception to the rule. I mean most of the guys who come out of that region are either massively talented but ground-bound (Divac) - yeah he ran the fast break for his first couple years, but still..., skilled shooters (Stojakovic, Petrovic), or all-around utility men (Kukoc). You don't see a J.R. Smith level athlete come out of that region...we may be lazy, but not even 1 genetic freak?

Parker is black, and generally black people are faster then white. I don't think ex Yugoslavians white man are any slower in average then other white man in world

I used to get my ass kicked by Slovenians all the time in Ljubljana and Bled. Great shooters who will shoot your face off when you give them space and if you play them close they'll blow right past you for a dunk. We Dutchies can only play center.

Wow he looks explosive in those videos. This guy really seems like a nice middle ground between Wiggins and Parker, not as athletic as the former or skilled as the latter, but maybe has the most complete combination of both

Someone a few years ago made a good point that because there's a prejudice against Intl. draft picks, whenever the next transcendent/star player comes out, it's going to be a guy who flies under the radar. Hezonja could be that guy
