I lucked out. I got the package. Anyhow, the DirecTV guy complaining is hilarious. Theyre charging heavy fees just like everyone else. Except this time, its the Beloved LAKERS They need to make a commitment one way or another.

Dropped direct TV and switched to Verizon Fios...their installing it now. Screw you DirectTV.

Actually I did it for the massive discount, 300.00 VIsa Card, and all the pay channels free for a year. My statement to DirectTV still stands.

I called em and they gave me the run around. Said they are still in talks with TWC but nothing is done yet. But I complained and demanded some sort of compensation and they gave me 3 free months of HBO and the other movie channels. You should try it.

someone mentioned they removed twc sportsnet from their "promise" website. Could be good, but could be directv wanting to remove twc sportsnet name from everything. That guy mike white wants to take a stand against rsn's because they're getting too expensive and it's a trend. Also mike white is a ****.

The guy installed it just in time for the Warriors game last night, and I have to say, the new Lakers channel is awesome. Also really digging Verizon Fios right now. Much better value than Direct TV, and I still get Sunday Ticket and NBA league pass if I wanted. I'm a happy man.

sunday ticket through ps3?

anyway I'm going to have to take the least expensive deal from twc. I'm not dropping directv for twc. For verizon yes not for twc, i'll have to drop netflix. to me negotiations are looking bleak :-?

Although I have not yet actually tried to order Sunday Ticket because the Raiders are awful I'm pretty sure Verizon offers NFL Sunday TIcket. I can tell you for a fact that they have the red zone channel which evidently you don't have to pay for...(or maybe you do? I guess I'll find out tomorrow morning). I think they just started offering it this season...
