ORL/LAC

Post#1 » by Dub_Sax » Thu Nov 15, 2012 10:08 pm

I saw this trade on another website so not trying to take credit as the originator, but what do u think of a JJ/BBD for Bledsoe/DJ trade?

This Bledsoe kid is playing well and they already have CP3. I'm sure LAC could use a sharp-shooting SG. DJ would bring a defensive mentality @ C. Call him Dwight-lite! lol

I think Moore can play "kinda" the same role as JJ.

However, don't think LAC had any need for BBD, so a third team prolly needs to get involved.

Not to mention, we trade a 26 & a 28 yr old player for a 22 & a 24 yr old.

Thoughts??

That's absolutely correct. The Clippers think they are contenders, so they would trade their starting Center in his breakout year for our backup SG. Don't worry, to sweeten the deal a bit, they will throw in their promising point guard (who will be starting next year if CP leaves as a free agent) if we promise to give them Big Baby. Why has this not happened yet?

Robb is right, the clipps would never do this. This thread probably isn't going anywhere, so i'll just leave this video of deandre jordan farting on people...

Less than 0% chance Clippers do this.

When the Clippers hire Otis Smith to run their team then we can revisit this trade.

Why would the Clippers do this?

BBd wouldnt get minutes for them. JJ wouldnt even play once Billups comes back.

Just not gonna happen.

And whilst we're at it, lets package up Afflalo, Vuce, Moe Harkless and Al Harrington for Dwight Howard

i could see a JJ for Bledsoe + fillers deal going down.

Clips could really use JJ. he's perfect SG to play next to Crawford off the bench, and as a shooter, he'd compliment Paul well.

no need to throw in BBD for DeAndrea **EDIT (i mean that, in terms of no need to for LAC to throw in DJ)

Clippers are NOT moving Bledsoe til CP3 is inked
aol4532 on bill russell
I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.

Fine! We can revisit this AFTER CP3 signs then.. I mean, other than the Knicks, I really dont see him going anywhere else anyway.

Did you see Lebron picking Miami a year before it happened?

Can't see Clips trading their starting defensive minded center for BBD. I doubt they would do Bledsoe for JJ unless there is much sweetener.

Also, I remember quite a few people on RealGM thinking LeBron going to Miami. The reason being Wade wasn't going to leave Miami and those two really wanted to play together.

This makes sense only if GM Hennigan imagines that Bledsoe is a long-term starter at PG. Most project this kid as a combo guard, and said players are usually bench guys.

Still there are not really options for Orlando going forward at the PG slot, and this might be the type of gamble GM Hennigan needs to make.
