gswhoops retiring from mod duty

Post#1 » by HartfordWhalers » Thu Nov 15, 2012 2:53 pm

While I would like to announce that gswhoops is staying a mod forever, unfortunately real life time constraints are such that he is taking a step back from active mod duty.

A great voice of reason, and as good a mod as any, he will be missed on our team. On behalf of the other mod's and the board in general, thanks so much for the great work he has done, and the time he has put in. And we expect you to keep posting!

What is this "real life" of which you speak?

Best of luck to him. Always been one of my faves.

It was nice having "one of ours" on the trade board (even though I usually disagreed with him, lol) but he will be definitely be missed (at least by Warrior fans who probably took less of a beating with him around).

Well, apparently the good news is that we get to beat on Warriors fans more now

That's a real loss for the Board, though, he is exactly what a mod should be: smart, fair, and a genuinely good guy to boot. Hope you stick around the Board when time allows, my friend!

I've never had a problem with him. Probably one of the best mods going around.

I've got to say Golden State fans are some of the best on RealGM. Their jokes about Biedrins always crack me up.

Thanks for all the kind words. Hopefully I'll still be around the boards a decent amount.

gswhoops was what a mod should be. Too many power trippers around these days - it's a shame to see one of the greats hang it up, but the dude's presence is/was greatly appreciated.

Wait, I thought real life consisted of being a RealGM mod? Isn't that everyone's dream job?! I know it's mine!

Let us know how the RealGM retirement package is...
