Al Farouq Aminu

Post#1 » by Rotela » Sat Jul 7, 2012 1:16 am

This dude has been helping Nigeria in the off season, http://nigerian-basketball.blogspot.co.uk/2012/07/nigeria-defeats-greece-80-79.html

From watching his game, I really think he has the tools to be a major player offensively and defensively, he only needs to work on his shooting as his mechanics are not there yet, how do you guys think he will figure in the Hornets team this year ?

I liked Al when he was w/ the Clippers, he is a good kid, ball player and community member. You got a great kid when he was added, I think once he gets confidence he will be solid.

Never been a fan, but I'm watching the Spurs game, and he is turning my opinion around. Knew he was athletic, but he is working HARD.
Best case, could be a scarily athletic forward combo with Davis...

My question is consistency across 82 games...Being a big athletic SF where does he stack up against others who are nimble smaller and faster at the SF position..I think it all comes down to match ups and how much Monty can use him...
