I have a feeling BC passed on his chance to sell high on DD (with Harden).

Whether he did or didn't, I don't see any real opportunities to "sell high." There aren't many players who are right about his level with a better chance at looking even better. Eric Gordon is the only guard who really comes to mind, but I wouldn't want to bet on him staying injury free. Paul George is really the only other name that comes to mind - and that's not really selling high with George continuing to show he's not someone you can count on as a go to scorer.

Is it? If we can get some good return on it, it's worth considering.

That said, it probably isn't a good idea to strip important positional players for gambles, so the talent coming back would have to be really enticing. Tyreke is a gamble.

Would consider Bargnani for Evans though.

I agree. DD reminds me a lot of Bosh. He could very well be great for some rather consistent production, but if trading him helps land a more obvious impact player, it is definitely worth considering. However, I don't see many options out there. Totally happy keeping him and hoping for the best.

DD won't land us a better player unless we add something more

Portland wouldn't trade Batum for DD and Bargs together

I expect DD to keep getting better..there's no point in actively trying to trade him. You do so if the right deal comes along.

Lmfao, it's just absolutely silly. DeRozan playing like a top 5 guy at his position at 23 years old, but NAH MAN. He doesn't have that potential, let's trade him for Tyreke freaking Evans.

I think this is how Colangelo gets away with his front office decisions. As stupid as he is, he's 1000 times as smart as a lot of the posters on this board. I'm sure this guy also thinks Bargnani needs more money and that he is going to blossom into a Dirk-Hakeem Olajuwon hybrid in no time.

I firmly believe what makes a lot of teams good is consistency in the line up. We cant just keep looking to move all our best players, we need to build a team of good players and keep them. The ones that arn't performing and are not playing the style of basketball that the team wants to play should be moved. Cough Bargs Cough.

I would sell high on DeRozan because his upside is really overrated. I'm sure there's a few GMs out there who can be sold into thinking he has all-star potential (unfortunately, our GM is one of those fools).

Lol, my fav part was how you said in the same post: I think he can be an all-star BUT I don't think he can be a star. Worst post ever. I'm still not entirely convinced Derozan is for real, but if he keeps playing like this, why the **** would we trade him for some guy who hasn't been able to play for 3 years???

Lets be honest here, Demar would be an expensive trade right now I cant really think of another SG Id rather have btond Gordon or Harden. Who else? It would be tough to find a trade that would make sense. Man, just wait till Lowry comes back

ok homer, Portland would be the idiots

Batum is averaged more points, more steals, more blocks, more rebounds, more assists, shooting on much better efficiency while playing great defense.

20.8 PPG, 6.3 RPG, 3.2 APG, 2.3 STL, 1.3 BLK, 0.608 TS%, above average D

versus

18.9 PPG, 4.9 RPG, 2 APG, 1 STL, 0.2 BLK, 0.520 TS%, average to below average D

You really think Portland's gonna make that trade?

Tyreke is not worth it, too selfish.

Tyreke is just so much clearly worse than DeMar right now.
