My new favorite Williams trade of the day: Courtney Lee straight up.

Adelman's guy, a shooter, a SG, decent all around and on a relatively small contract.

RR-CL-AK-KL-PEK

we definitely need a shooter in our starting unit.

Thought about that to, but why would Boston?

Courtney Lee has been atrocious this season and benched from the starting lineup in Boston. I would really rather have D-Will's potential than that

Lee hasn't exactly looked great in the green so far. Also he'll probably be out of the rotation, when Bradley comes back.

Thing is, the Celtics don't need D-Will, they have Green and Sully as their young forwards.

Courtney Lee has been Wes Johnson bad this year. No thanks. I wouldn't want him for cap space at this point. I'd rather dump D-Will for cap space and use the money to keep Pek, Bud, and Cunningham around for the longterm.

Josh Howard could work out. I trust Adelman. If Howard can still play, Adelman will make something happen with it. If he can still play.

Nah, he's miles better than Wes, he just been adjusting to the new team. Lee will be allright.

I would say we don´t need a SG any more. Probably it is going too far, but I feel that this injury curse we are going through might have made this team quite stronger and deeper for the future.

Due to Rubio´s JJ´s and Roy´s absence, Shved has been in a situation of being much needed and has shown that he can be more than serviceable at this level. It is very difficult to get that NBA experience so fast and he´s done it great. One soldier more for the team.

I feel the same from Lee. He´s going to get a lot of minutes with that defense and crazy speed. He´s a hard worker. His shot will eventually be ok and the rest of the things are pretty much there. Bright future. Even with the injuries our 1, 2 rotation is solid.

The only player without a clear role in this team is Williams. I really think they should be looking for a trade that would return us a pick or a decent reserve 5 capable to give some scoring off the bench to complement Stiemsma´s skill set. With Love back it´s impossible he gets any kind of playing time at PF and Howard´s signing shows how little confidence they have in him to play SF even if it´s for 10 mpg. That contract of his, for a 3rd, 4th SF is too much, we would be fine with a D-leaguer at that slot. I wonder if somebody would give us a late first round pick for him right now though (or even a second?).

Just crazy as hell... That's it. There's a reason he was cut by the Mavs who are lacking solid guards without an injury report as big as the Encyclopedia Britannia off the bench.

You'd like Alec Burks from the Jazz. He'd be your starting SG. Not sure why he just popped up in trade rumors.

Agreed with those saying Reddick/Korver.

I'm not very familiar with overseas contracts, but is there anyone we could bring in Rudy Fernandez? He played well when he had his buddy Rodriguez with him in Portland, but never really seemed interested in the NBA after Sergio left. I think he could be a really solid bench option here, with Rubio being his Spanish connection/motivation.

I dont want him. Just because we have a dude from spain on our roster wont make him any less of a tool, and i dont it will make him more interested in staying in America and playing in the nba

Dudley might be attainable. He's not playing so well in Phoenix, and he can play both the 2 and 3 at a pretty solid level.

I'm at the point where I think Dudley for Williams would be a good swap for both teams. If we need incentive, maybe take back the pick we owe them.

He's not too old, plays a position of need, seems like a high IQ player, plays good defense, hits threes. And he's actually cheaper than Derrick, starting 750k cheaper next year to 2m cheaper in the last year of Derrick's rookie deal.

But this one is also a former Arizona player...meaning more tickets sold potentially.

Lee has looked horrible but I think Ridnour for Courtney Lee is fair for both sides.
