KOTB - LAC/NOH/IND - As soon as E.Gordon can be traded

Post#1 » by N.O.R.E. » Sun Nov 18, 2012 8:30 am

Clippers Trade: Bledsoe, Caron Butler
Receive: Danny Granger

DeAndre/Turiaf/Hollins
B.Griffin/Odom/Thompkins
Granger/Barnes
JC/Hill
Paul/Billups

Bledsoe has been great but the Clips are loaded at the guard positions and Granger could be a perfect fit at SF.

Hornets Trade: Eric Gordon
Receive: Bledsoe, Caron Butler

R.Lopez/Jason Smith
A.Davis/R.Anderson
Aminu/C.Butler
Henry/Rivers
Bledsoe/G.Vasquez

The Hornets get the piece they should've in the CP3 deal, while getting an adequate SF who expires at the end of next season.

Pacers Trade: Granger
Receive: Eric Gordon

Hibbert/Mahinmi
D.West/Hansbrough/Plumlee/Pendergraph
George/Green
E.Gordon/Stephenson
G.Hill/Augustin

The Pacers get the hometown kid, who once acquired I suspect the pain/injuries would quickly clear up - Eric Gordon doesn't want to be in N.O. It's made me not like him as a player and a person, however, I think this deal would be to good to pass up. Paul George should start at his natural position and acquiring Gordon does that. Granger has been very good for the Pacers, but it's time they move on IMHO.

I vote no.
NOH is not reciving enough, bledsoe is a good prospect, but is not at the same level of Gordon or Granger. Both teams i think would prefer to cut the clippers out of the deal.

Why the hell would the Hornets want Granger (who is also injured might I add) over Bledsoe (rookie deal + a lot of upside) and a vet on a very short-term deal that could be valuable to a contender in Caron Butler?

Eric Gordon has really done nothing to "earn" that contract, and I say that as a fan and someone that wants him to do well, I just don't see that happening in New Orleans.

Gordon was always a questionable "max contract" level player. Now he's apparently always hurt and pissed at NOH.

I actually think the team that's getting the worst of it is Indy (assuming the medical guys are confident Granger will be at 100% by playoff time).

EG and A.Bynum are two players that teams should stay away from due to their injury history...Pacers should say NO asap.
