Should the lakers sign Matt Carrol??

Post#1 » by myersia » Fri Nov 16, 2012 1:35 am

Just saw this on twitter from Marc Stein.
Word is Hornets & Matt Carroll working on buyout after CHA dealt Carroll for Hakim Warrick. Possible free-agent shooter for Lakers' radar?

This guy always killed us when we played the bobcats. Think he would be a legit shooter in Dantoni's system?

We should trade for Diop while we're at it. Maybe see if Vlad Rad wants to come back. While we're on top of it Smush looks like he needs work.

Raja Bell is a natural for D'Antoni Lakers to pursue but Bell still on Jazz roster. Lakes also have $100M payroll & full roster to cope with

Why not just pick up Delonte West then? He's a high 30s 3pt shooter that provides playmaking and defense. Why should LA sign a guy that was struggling to get minutes on the Bobcats roster? Raja Bell really? He hasnt been a good role player in like 2 years and he is 36. There are other options including letting Meeks get his ish together before we go sign guys that are struggling to see time on lottery teams.

They need Martell Webster, Quincy Pondexter, or Worell Wright. Another SG is useless.

I wouldn't sign anyone that came from the Bobcats.
They are all Michael Jordan sleeper agents with the sole purpose of preventing Kobe from getting his sixth.

this is Blake 2.0 but 10x worse, as Carrol stinks at everything and pretty useless if he's not hitting his shots. This is Blake to a T, both these guys look like legit solid players when they played against us but once they sign here, pure garabage.
