Thanks for doing this Hassassin. One of my favorite threads.

I just noticed NBAdraft.net has added Jordan Bachynski to their 2013 mock draft as a second rounder. I've followed his progress and it seems he has been pulling in great stats since he started getting more PT late last season, however I have never seen him play. Anyone with some more insight?

dwight powell is looking pretty good as the go to guy on Stanford right now.

if he declares this year, he'll get a summer league invite from some teams for sure, possibly even a 2nd round pick

still only a junior, why come out if youre only possibly a 2cnd round pick?

hes been a strange case. games like last night arent totally uncommon, but he has far more mediocre to poor games

Nik Stauskas is averaging 14 PPG and 3 RBG. Pretty impressive.

Updated. Stauskas had another good game. Bennett's been consistently playing well. Mullings has also been playing well.

I notice Sim putting up 12 points on 6-7 shooting in 16 minutes - how tall is that guy again? Freshman this year?

It's Sim's second decent game in a row. He is massive in person. I think he wears size 22 shoes.

it's articles like this that make me enthusiastic about the future of Canadian basketball. a lot of good borderline starter/bench players coming up through the next two drafts as well. great to see...if only the Raptors had a chance of landing Wiggins - if the guy turns out to be even 3/4s as good as everyone is claiming him to become, Wiggins will easily become the most popular athlete in Canada

Good to see. He was pretty dreadful the first game of the season that was on ESPNU (was it Oregon St they were playing). They were abusing him on PnR and the team was just plaing ignorning him. I can only assume he is getting in better shape and learning... and that the team is looking for him a bit more. I think he will become a good NCAA player.

It is looking like a great decision to RS last year. He has played really well in some games this year.

He bulked up quite a bit in the summer when I saw him at the Canada Basketball senior camp.

I think his success will really depend on how much weight he can lose. But he is getting better.
