Malcolm Lee out indefinitely

Post#1 » by Krapinsky » Fri Dec 14, 2012 7:42 pm

Joan Niesen ‏@JoanNiesen
Malcolm Lee with chrondal injury to right knee. Left Wednesday night's game with knee pain. Out indefinitely.

2m Jerry Zgoda ‏@JerryZgoda
Lee has had knee issues, of course. Chrondal condition is degenerative, involving cartilage damage

Too bad. He was showing promise. Now it's his knee again.

feel bad for him. 22 years old with a degenerative knee issue. Like others have said he was showing a lot of progress this season.

injuries like this just don't surprise me anymore. it's just as much of a routine as getting up and eating breakfast.

We're down to 2 true wing players in Shved and Howard. Time to make a move there I think.

It's bad, but not a guaranteed early retirement. Chris Bosh, IIRC, also has a degenerative knee condition. Yeah, he's a big man and all, but it's not like he doesn't rely on his quickness...I *think* it's manageable.

Please don't tell me we've got the beginnings of a Blazers-like injury curse. All these knee injuries must lead to the team being extra cautious with Rubio.

It's not like Malcolm was going to be a star anyway. Frankly, I'm surprised he saw as much action as he has.

Ugh. This sucks.

I was wondering why he left the game because he wasn't involved in a collision or had a freak accident. It makes sense, although it's also a bit surprising that he had to leave to court without showing signs of pain.

Wasn't as high on him as others, but he played well for a 2nd round pick. Definitely a guy who would have to be a specialist at something like D to stick long term. Hurts to lose him as our depth is non-existent at SG which will mean more Ridnour at SG with Rubio back (sans a deal). Think we saw a bit of that last night.

Darren Wolfson ‏@DarrenWolfson
I won't be surprised from correspondence today if Malcolm Lee is done for the year... and the #Twolves sign someone. Maybe Redd. Stay tuned.

Wow :o
