What will it take for this moron to be fired? This team is just a mess from top to bottom.

You need someone there that can give ownership that insight, you can't panic."

Basically, no one on the "board" has the balls to do anything, and I wouldn't doubt that it's because none of those guys follow the NBA or understand the game. I bet it's a major part of the reason why BC gets away with making such horrible moves.

Inaction is such a big problem with this team. People are just now debating things that at the very latest should have been done a year or two ago. Waited for BC to screw over the team in the off-season, now are trying to trade Bargnani/Calderon when their value is at an all-time low. This is why bad teams stay bad.

Great article from Grange. It read like equal parts dare and advice to management.

wishful thinking. MLSE is making money, to them they don't need to change a thing! Bryan and Bargs will be here next year to push for 10th.

Of FFS.

Reasons why BC wont get fired, Tanenbaum has a lot of political power and is a close associate of Jerry Colangelo, BC is Larry's boy. The team is not paying the lux tax and is making a killing on merchandise and attendance that alone ensures BC's job security, bottomline. So as much as we like him gone, it aint happening as this is still a business and BC is the ultimate corporate mouthpiece.

This shouldn't be news to anyone... We all knew MLSE would wait until the end of the season no matter what happens.

Still not sure why we hired Stefanski. I've always thought it was B.C hiring a figure head to do negotiations, handle contracts, etc, since he was readily overpaying guys left and right. Then the Fields signing...

If we end up having B.C as a lame duck GM with Ed or Embry in charge of the draft, etc. It will be a bad situation. Hopefully this means MLSE is just looking for candidates. They better get their act together.

He will get another contract. But with a significant pay cut. As long as the raps turn a decent profit MLSE won't care. But when that happens I'll quit supporting the team. I'd never thought that would be a possibility.

I highly doubt it. The "accelerated rebuild" is an unmitigated disaster. Now BC is forcing the full monty rebuild onto MLSE by default which is something they are averse to doing. He will pay the ultimate price for that one. There is no Lear Jet to go flying in or Wayne Gretzky video presentations to pitch when they are accumulating entry level drafted assets. MLSE without the dog and pony show is just not the same fun loving MLSE.
