it was similar to the time I sat behind the Raptors' bench and Antonio Davis came by and high fived me for no reason (i'm not a "hey, hi-five!" kind of guy). think i got about 5 gallons of his forearm sweat sprayed on me.

haven't showered since.

To this day, I've got Paul Pierce's wristband that he flicked up into the crowd after a game. It was completely soaked in his juices.

Anyway, how can anyone idolize the man Vince Carter. He's a pretty stupid guy.

Sometimes the Sprite zone guys give out stuff too. Big deal right? Sure but Sprite was my favourite drink as a kid so it means something.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

LOL Raps fans need to get over Vince, we have bigger concerns than him.

Hell, there is a chance Vince's jersey maybe retired with the Raps, and fans will welcome him back. Move on guys.

Well it was VC that made the Raptors relevant. I think that trumps what he did right before he left.

Only option for video would be to record my computer monitor from an alternate source which would obviously be lesser quality than HD video ripping quality when people steal online footage, etc...

Theres plenty of programs to record what is on your monitor

If we don't retire his jersey we're complete morons, even when he left I never once booed him. I even bought his Nets jersey, I knew he was right straight from the start, it's not his fault we traded him for a couple spare tires and some spare bolts.

VC Put this team and city on the NBA map, I can GUARANTEE had VC never been on this team, the raptors wouldn't have half the following they do today... It's a bi** move if we don't hang his number from the rafters, and allowing Amir (a bucket of sh*t compared to VC) wear his number.

I agree with what Matt and Jack were saying last night. Don't retire it right away, maybe wait another 10 years and see whats up.

You should boil that wrist band, then drink the water. You may gain some of his powers.

Sometimes women make men do regretful things. All in all though Vince has always been above board and represented the Raptors better than most. He most assuredly brought way more positive to the organization and city than any other player.

I think today's incarnation of the Raptors should be enough of a foil for fans to finally wake up to the truth. Apparently not though.

Retiring his number would be a joke and setting our standards ridiculously low

He had 7 good years with us not a career and within the 7 years we broke the first round once

First we retire Carter's number then boshs then calderons.... The reality is we have not had a player who was worth honouring yet with that, carter would have got there if he didn't crap on the franchise on his way out and stayed another couple of years in his prime

The blue jays despite being around twice as long as the raptors have only retired 1 number ( by the way it was their best player during two World Series championships )

I'd rather shake Jose Calderon's hand.
