I was actually thinking about Jennings for Lowry. Jennings is buddies with Demar and ED and I think is better suited to run the offence here. Stat-wise they are almost identical, Lowry still has one year left on his contract at a very reasonable rate. Jennings already mentioned he wants out.

Yes I can live with Lowry for Jennings as well; that will be interesting.

The whole point of the my suggested trade is that what the Lakers want is Calderon - Because the uncertainty of Nash - Bargs is thrown in as filler to get gasol. Bringing in Minny allows them to get Gasol, and the price of Love is because he would be replaced by Gasol (and the salary works), Thus the reason the trade works is that LA wants Calderon but we don't want Gasol, but Minny wants Gasol but Love doesn't fix the Lakers problem (and that problem is PG not Gasol). Thus the two scenario's - Oh and in case your wondering Luke Ridnour is in no way better for a D Antonio offense then Jose

anyone else remember the Grunwald days where a 3 team trade wasn't needed but instead he made subsequent trades with 3 teams to build a team into the 2nd round?

Different CBA I realize and appreciate. Just saying. :)

Cmon for that trade, reuniting the California Boyz(Amir, DD) give him at least 2 weeks.

I'd also do Lowry for Jennings. Lowry is very over-rated and a chucker.

While not a true trade take protection off our 2013 pick for OKC 1st and I believe they have LAL 1st from Houston trade

Try to win ASAP and move Bargs, Lowry and maybe DD. Let Jose expire and amnesty either Klieza or Amir.

I'm not sure if Jennings is any more of an answer at the point. He's a nice young talented point guard, but he's a volume shooter just like Lowry. We need a guy who has a good feel for the game instead of glorified chucker.

Although I hate Bargnani I would trade for him if you threw Lowry/Ross in the deal.

Gasol/Blake/Ebanks for Lowry/Ross/Bargnani?

You guys hook up with the Spanish connection Gasol/Calderon/Val

You guys are not getting wrecked in that deal.

It's basically Pau for Lowry/Ross,Bargnani is a lost cause with you guys so you get rid of his contract and you also get rid of Lowry who is likely to leave as a FA.I think's it's a fair deal.

Calderon/Pau/Val/Derozan/Davis is a nice mix of talent.

Minni is not trading Love, cmon. Why in the world would they give up D Will, Love, Ridnour, and Barea for just Pau and Jose lol (unless they want to start recreating the Spanish team).

If Lakers really do not want Bargnani, then maybe a Jose, Kleiza, and Ross or Ed Davis to LA for Pau Gasol and Ebanks to Minni, and we get D Williams, Barea, and whatever filler to make it work.

If there is not a good trade out there then you do one of two things:
-Bench him - try him as 6th man, maybe it works, maybe it doesn't. At least he plays less minutes.
-Do a trade for any shorter contract, or 2 shorter contracts regardless of talent. Then try to trade those guys for any shorter contract so you only have 1 year to ride out instead of 3. You can even buy them out at that point and be done with it. This is what I proposed for Hedon'ts toxic deal but luckily he ate a year to get out.

No point trying to force a bad trade with LAL just because no one else is biting right now. We should not have to throw in more assets beyond Bargs and Jose to get Pau's shorter contract.

With Howard all but saying he's not signing with the Lakers when his contract expires, I think any chance of the Lakers wanting Bargs has officially gone out the window as they would be left with no center. They're probably better off keeping Gasol if they can't find a decent center in a trade as, barring some kind of miracle, Howard is clearly leaving. Man, you think the Raps have it bad, at least we're not the Lakers!!!

I think Minny is the best option for Bargs cause Williams and Love both seem unhappy and we all know how much Khan loves his Euros. They may want both Calderon and Bargs.

Lowry for Millsap?

Millsap-Jonas in the frontcourt sounds good.
