I know they are waiting for Nash before assessing Pau but I'm just throwing this out here:
http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=csterrqLakers lose/Wolves get: Gasol, Ebanks, Clark, Blake
Wolves lose/Lakers get: Love, Budinger, Barrea, Williams
since Rubio is back, Pau playing with his countryman and in a new team can spark his old game. worst case scenario for him is he'll be demoted to a spot up shooter (like earlier this season when playing with Howard and like last year with Bynum) to open up space for Pek but Adelman is not stupid and I assume he'll be used ala C-Webb.
Love, though thought of to be untouchable, could be dealt with his recent struggles and injuries. and let's not forget how he expresses what he thinks of the team.
Barrea may be the expendable PG since Rubio is back. pov of Minnesota, he has the larger salary and isn't worth keeping since Ridnour, Rubio, and Shved can provide whatever he can provide. Blake can be the 3rd string PG.
Wolves get two solid wings in return (which they sorely lack) and they rid themselves of Williams. though they'll lose Chase who provides better shooting than Ebanks and Clark.
Lakers:
PG - Nash/Barrea/Duhon/Morris
SG - Bryant/Meeks/DJO
SF - World Peace/Budinger/Williams
PF - Love/Jamison
C - Howard/Hill/Sacre
Wolves:
PG - Rubio/Ridnour/Blake
SG - Shved/Lee/Ebanks/Roy
SF - Kirilenko/Howard/Clark
PF - Gasol/Cunningham/Amundson
C - Pekovic/Stiemsma
biased I know. I'm a Laker fan, sue me.
