MIN won't even trade Pek for Pau. And you added AK47 and D-Will?

Assuming the reports are true that Minny values Pau, then yes. LA and NOH may have to add a few young pieces or eat Roy's contract. Pek is a free agent at seasons end (are they investing in him long term?) Assuming they pick up Kirilenko's player option, they have nearly $50M committed to 8 players excluding Pek next season. Pek can fetch anywhere from $10M - $12M in the open market. DWilliams is an afterthought seeing as his minutes continue to decrease. So in the end, the trade reads an expiring Pek plus Kirilenko for Gasol, a few extra young pieces (Ebanks & Henry) and LA absorbing Roy's contract. Does Minny value Gasol as much as its been said they do?

We're not getting either Pek or Kirilenko, let's not get delusional

At this point,I'd settle for Ridnour/Williams/Cunningham with a huge TPE(because sure as hell, the salaries won't match)...is that even possible?

Maybe take Roy's contract if we get rid of Blake in the process....we'd have to include 2 of our scrubs in the deal as we'd have too many players(or simply cut them)

Roy's not the player who'll rot on the bench just for a paycheck for next season,I''d fully expect him to retire at the end of the seaspn if he can't go and play
And if he somehow got 10-15 mins in him per game come March-April and the Playoffs,it would be welcomed

They have Kahn we have Mitch. II wouldnt put it past Mitch to do a trade like this. The Wolves love Gasol.

Lakers fire Pringles and hire one of the Van Gundy bros or McMillan to coach an ultra deep defensive juggernaut. The offense should only get slightly worse while the defense gets much much better.

Bulls:
Dwight Nazr
Bargs Boozer
Butler Ebanks
Meeks Belinelli
Rose Hinrich Nate

Bulls realize they are not beating Miami or NY anytime soon and sacrifice this year to have a chance in the future. Bulls get rid of an overpaid Gibson and amnesty Boozer next year. Bargs is overpaid but Dwight can only function with a stretch 4. It seems that a very immature Dwight would mesh a lot better with a younger superstar like Rose.

Knicks:
Nash is an almost perfect fit with NY and is one the few teams he would want to be traded to. A team that already leads the league in 3s gets the perfect player to run the high pick and roll and make teams pay even more for doubling Carmelo.

Raptors:
They take a small hit in the Felton for Lowry swap but finally get to rid themsevles of Bargs and Calderon.

Good trade for me.

Jordan crawford is like mini kobe off the bench
Seraphin is good bench depth
Okafor is no dwight but hes healthy and defensive minded..."AND HES NOT SOFT"... <---kobe likes

Wizards ah do it cause...they get dwight howard....even without meek or Duhon...they'll still do it...and should
Dwight can score as much as he want...he'll be surrounded by great defense (8th in opp scoring) and he can score as much as he want...

Wall/duhon
Beal/meeks
Webster/martin/singleton
Nene/booker/vesley
Dwight

Nash/blake
Kobe/crawford
Ariza/mwp
Gasol/seraphin

So I've figured out why Pau has been sucking.. He's trying to force the Lakers to trade him to Minny so he can play alongside his buddy Rubio before he has to retire. :D

Set Pau free and please bring in return anything remotely resembling someone who can play basketball.. I know it's asking a lot but without this prayer answered we're done..

Relying on Pau to be our starting center would be an awful move. The guy can't play anymore. If we can't get anything serviceable in trade for him we're done... We don't have to like it but we do have to accept it at this point.

No news on the waiver front either. DJO and Sacre's deals become guaranteed if they are on the roster after today.
