Fire Pringles, hire Kurt Rambis

Post#1 » by Gallinari » Mon Jan 7, 2013 4:39 am

Real talk, The system has failed and it's time to blow it up starting from the head of the snake. Pringles must go and be replaced by someone familiar to the players and the system, Kurt Rambis will satisfy both.

Although a lot of people would probably agree with you, I think Mike D'Antoni probably quits like he did in NY before he gets fired. Kurt would bring back the triangle, along with Brian Shaw, but if the Lakers orginization wanted that they would have hired Phil Jackson from the get-go.

It took us a few years before D'Antoni left and even then we didn't fire him he had to quit lol.

So yeah... good luck for a few seasons.

Anyone but that piece of garbage. We will never be a respectable team again until he's gone.

I don't even know what to say anymore. This team just cannot win. Great roster, but our coach sucks. We have freaking Dwight Howard and we constantly give up 110+ points to other teams smh.

Why would the ownership put a Phil Jackson disciple as a head coach, when they have everything possible to purge the franchise of his influence. They won't allow the Triangle to be ran.

Can't believe I'd ever say this, but I'll be happy if this team just makes the playoffs. This team is so pathetic and embarrassing to watch, we are 3 games under 500 and almost at the halfway point of the season, yet this team still plays lethargic and lazy. Almost halfway through the season with MWP and Dwight, we still can't play decent defense.

Bring back Mike Brown. He is on the payroll anyway. How is all that we need to play fast stuff now. Lakers were playing a system that got everyone involved and the only problem was the turnovers were killing the defense. Instead we go to a coach that thinks Jodie Meeks should shoot every time he touches the ball. Posting up your all-star big men are bad plays.

Trust me as a Wolves fan, you do not want Kurt Rambis.

As much as I disliked Brown and his HORRIBLE rotations, I have to agree. The Princeton was beautiful when we actually ran it correctly. Everyone was getting great looks and the TOs were our only issue. Also, Nash never really "ran the show" because of his injury and his focus on making sure we got the Princeton down first. If the management gave Brown that 6 game home stretch to see what he was made of, I think things would have worked out better than where we are now.

Of course, Phil would have been the answer but there's nothing MDA really brings to the table that I like. We're so deep into the season now that we kind of just have to stick it out...I don't mind Bernie running the show as Bernie said but another coaching change at this point could completely ruin us. (It's a gamble I guess)

On a brighter note, if we hire Phil at this point, the Buss family isn't "losing" money since they would be paying their own family now that he and Jeanie are engaged.
