Visiting the forum has driven up my browser's memory usage in the past couple of days.

The problem has returned.

It's even worse this time around. I'm having to wait for all sorts of ads to load and I'm also being redirected to different websites.

I'm having problems as well. I can only load pages if I stop them before they can completely load, or try to load anyway. Looks like my browser is hung up on something from directagain.net

using Chrome with adblock plus btw

Also using chrome with adblock. I manually blocked the following and everything is fine again:

directagain
diamondtraff
adsites
hotfeed
onsitemarketplace

So it's one or more of those.

Recently I've noticed a lot of poster's having the title "suspended" under their avatars. Is this a bug? Because I highly doubt that so many posters have been suspended.

M4P,

It is indeed a forum bug that we are working to fix.

Does the "unread posts" icon work for other people? It is not working for me. This is the little yellow icon, 2nd from the left, on the threads page. If you click it, you're supposed to be taken to first unread post in the thread, but it always takes me to the first post.

Which browser are you using?

It works for me on IE9.

Sometimes, I get the same issue. And these are the conclusions I have came up with:
- I remember getting this issue using the FireFox browser.
- It also existed when I use my University's computers in the lab. So maybe, this issue exists when you are on a network that is heavily protected?
- The issue also exists when I am on my smartphone.

Using Firefox 17.0.1 and Windows 7 from PC on home connection (no firewall, etc.). I don't have this problem on other forums, which seem to be using the same software (vBulletin?).

Edit: just noticed this is a phpBB board, not vBulletin.

Were going to work on this browser issue when we update the forums.

We regret the troubles.

was getting a mysql error, "too many connections". was it because toronto was beating the heat for a little while there? i know toronto fans are the biggest group on realgm.

Of all the websites I regularly use, RealGM is the least reliable. For the first time, I signed up to a different basketball message board because the Realgm forums either go down or trigger my anti-virus (Avast). And in my seven years of using this site the Search function has never been useable.

I hope these issues are being addressed, because I am nearly fed up.
