i was pretty surprised

i would figure players would want to keep him locked up in his office so nothing happens to him so he can continue to perform his 'knee magic' forever

Doormatt wrote:idk i just dont think handheld gaming appeals to a wide enough audience for it to ever take off really. i mean the nintendo ds is awesome and i think even sony did pretty well with the psp, theres even handheld exclusive titles that are supposedly really good games. but they dont really seem that successful.

personally, i just dont see the appeal of playing games outside of my home. when im not home im out doing something that is taking my attention. cant play in the car cuz im driving, cant play in class cuz its rude and also whats the point of going and doing that, and when your with friends your with friends. yeah its annoying when people are constantly on their phone when youre out, but its not as involved as playing a handheld game. to me it really has nothing to do with the power of the device or the games, its just, i only want to play games when im at home alone, because thats when i feel its appropriate. i imagine many people feel the same way.

i guess maybe its just the people im around but i dont know a single person who plays handheld games, even those that own them dont seem to play them. maybe they play at home idk but that seems like a waste as opposed to playing on an actual console or pc.

handheld gaming is enormously huge, you don't really need to look past angry birds and those type games (although you should)

pokemon could literally keep any nintendo handheld afloat, while they try out any number of games looking for a hit. pokemon games are the second most successful video game series ever after mario

long car rides/planes, etc are great for gaming, and i play my ds at home all the time- just sit and watch tv while playing its great

i think the only action my DS has gotten over the past yr is when some young kid is over with his parents and is bored, i bust out the DS and us adults can hangout. other than that probably last time i used it was when we're in at disneyland and have long waits (like sitting waiting for fantasmic). my wife and i play some mario kart.

pretty much agree with doormatt, plus if i know im going to have a long wait somewhere (like plane or appointment), im usually more interested in a book.

She got Dwight to talk to her on twitter though remember.

But now Dwight and Kobe hate each other.

This means I must choose.
