Honestly though, I'm curious to see Boylan's lineups tomorrow night. Maybe, just maybe, he looks to play our youth and build on the solid showings Tobes and Henson had in summer league? Holy crap is this going to be ugly.

As long as he doesn't stick with Skiles rotations and actually coaches the team on the Offensive end, I'm fine winning or tanking with him for the rest of the season.

At best he is a poor man's Skiles with better rotations and more young guys and we either still make it to the playoffs with them or we pick high enough to take a difference maker.

At worst he is under some front office mandate to play Gooden and Dalembert either to increase their trade value or because Hammond is a moron, or because we are paying them 14 million to do nothing at the moment.

Boylan is one of the worst coaches ever.

I remember the days when he coached that Bulls team.....it was just so bad it has to be seen to be believed.

Gooden/Dally would be good for a tank, though.

The sad thing is I think a baboon could coach this team to a 37-win 8 seed in a horrendous East, giving us false hope going into next season with not-very-promising, yet not-so-bad showings from our younger guys that get overblown because we made the playoffs. Kohl would probably mandate a Jennings extension, Monta extension, and another Gooden-esque signing to follow it up.

yeah I am skeptical about this being any sort of step up in the short run.

But we already run no offensive system, so Im not sure even with Boylan as the coach we are going to end up with say, 28 wins or something. If this is a prelude to a tank we need to deal the vets asap.

Less crazy and much less competent than Skiles. Bring on those lottery balls.

Here's hoping he starts Jennings - Lamb - Tobes - Henson - Sanders to a nice lottery pick.

Bulls-fan here: if you want a lottery pick keep Boylan, he was soo bad I didn't enjoy watching my Bulls anymore. He just does the same stuff Skiles does, but a lot worse. And he looked totally out of sync with the players. And couldn't motivate anyone to play hard. At least Skiles got the players to try, Boylan can't do that, even worse, he got them to not try at all at times.
I'm still happy he coached us, b/c we got Rose out of the draft. But that's really the only silver lining out of that mess.

I'm sure he will.. after the season. Bucks are going to get killed into the trade deadline.

Yep... Boylan's ineptitude got the Bulls the Derrick Rose pick. I hope the bucks get the same.
