The Milwaukee Bucks and coach Scott Skiles have agreed to part ways immediately, USA Today Sports has learned. Story to come.

You give them too much credit. They're not that smart of an organization.

They're smart enough to not fire their coach of several years while they're above .500 and in the playoff race without having a replacement ready.

Must be his rotations, which might be the only ones in the league worse than Casey's.

Bucks were a fantasy roster wasteland. Time to activate Drew Gooden!!

Not saying you're wrong, but you know this how exactly?

I'm surprised that nobody's mentioned him as a replacement for José yet.

Did he get fired? I read that he told them he was gone after this year, he didn't want to come back. So maybe they came to a conclusion that he should leave now.

He just uses too many players. Jennings and Ellis are the only ones who get consistent minutes on that team. Needs to shorten the rotation and make them more consistent and actually let his young guys play and develop.

Seems to have been a mutual parting. Bucks had not given him a new contract, he told them he would not return after this season, they asked him to think it over, word got out and both sides agreed it was better to part now.

This team definitely wasn't playing his style. Too guard driven.

He didn't want to come back anyway from what I've read.

He comes out and says he doesn't have a future with Milwaukee and wants to move on. Totally my feeling on this, but he wants a team closer to being a contender. I think next season he is the head coach of Brooklyn.

The Bucks used to be awesome with a rookie Ray Allen as well as a prime Vin Baker and Glenn Robinson. Sad.

I feel like Skiles always over-acheives with his roster. I would switch Skiles for Casey any day.

Agreed. Skiles would be perfect for our present Bargnani-less roster.

Sounds like Skiles was held ACCOUNTABLE.
