i think majority of teams rather have monroe than boozer. i'd consider moose better than boozer right now, but i'm not a boozer fan

Josh Smith yes.
Al Horford yes.
KG yes.
Bosh yes.

Amare? No. I mean I can admit, Boozer sucks. Amare is worse. They are equally as terrible on defense. Maybe we can call them even on rebounding but who would you trust more to score a basket in isolation or on the pick and roll? The answer is Boozer, especially considering we don't know what Amare is anymore.

Josh Smith and Melo are better.
Varejao, Monroe are better, but currently not playing the pf position.
The east is fairly weak at the pf position.

I personally think the best thing the Bulls could do is trade Boozer and Hamilton for Pau Gasol and Ebanks or someone similar. Noah at pf is better defensively than Noah at center.
Numbers don't lie, people who use them do
What do you think about @kporzee? Karl-Anthony Towns: PorzinGOD does not care or need my opinion for he is a higher life form then all of us.

But Horford, KG and Bosh all play center. JSmith, Bass and Haslem are the 4's for those teams

Does anyone think Boozer is better at this moment then JSmith? I am not sure-Smith seems better, but his dumb plays always bring him down. But, Boozer is a choker in the playoffs the last few years, so not sure which is worse

And West seems really slow now-I don't watch Indy much but he has fallen off a bit.

Miami-Haslem-no
Wash-Okafor starts at the 4 I believe, so no
Atl-Jsmith-maybe-this one is close
Orl-BBD-no
Char-who is their 4?

Bos-Bass-no
Phily-Young-no
tor-Bargs-no
NJ-Humphries-no
NY-Melo for now, so yes. Amare-no

So, is it possible that Boozer, one of the most hated on players in the league, is the best 4 in the East?

He's not even the best 4 on his team. Taj is better. Also:
Mil - Illysoava is better when he's makes some shots, as he has recently though obviously not at the beginning of the year
Clev - no
Det - no
Indy - West is clearly better at offense + defense

Bos - no
Philly - yes, Thad Young is surprisingly effective
Tor - no
NYK - yes, Melo
BK - no

Miami - LeBron mostly plays PF, so obviously yes
Wash - Nene, when healthy, is better (Okafor is a center). Nene's missed a lot of time though
Atlanta - Smith is far, far better
Orlando - no
Char - no

So 5 better PF's, with 2 more likely better with a return to health/form (Nene and Illyxova) + his own backup.

Doesn't LeBron play 4 a lot now w/ Bosh at the 5.

LeBron is the best PF when he plays that spot.

I am a Taj homer and even I can admit he is not better than Boozer this year. Taj has been just as inconsistent, if not more so.

What? there is absolutely no basis for that, Boozer for one is clearly the better rebounder but even in the season that Amar'e had last season where he played through injury his offensive numbers are pretty clearly superior to Boozers... Also add in he did not have his jumpshot that was so good the year before last year and he looks to be a much better offensive player when healthy then boozer has any chance to be

You either include Lebron and Melo or KG and Bosh.

Boozer gets a lot of hate (mostly rightfully so) because of his contract and what the Bulls could have had that summer with the free agent crop. I haven't watched much of the Bulls this year, but he seems to be back to being relatively consistent, though not 20-10 anymore, but he is one of the primary scorers on the 5th(?) best team in the East that's missing it's star.

Even contracts aside I'd still take David West. He's been an incredible leader, makes clutch plays, and is a very good defender against most post players. Boozer is still meh at best on defense and both are on the wrong side of 30.

Nene plays 4 for the Wizards. When 100% healthy, I'd pick Nene over Boozer any old day.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

West is probably better than Boozer. Boozer hadnt been scoring well until very recently.

And Boozer is a better rebounder than Amare. How is that up for discussion?

i was thinking this the other day. By Boozers current play so far this year he is the most deserving Allstar PF. That is on his play this year so far. Do I think he is the best? HELL NO. But he sure is playing like it.
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington
