Adding Kmart would a disaster to current roster. Not enough minutes as it is to go around. Kenyon is a tweener. Unless Kenyon was cool with pine time.

Essentially, yes.

Then I really hope we don't need to sign K Mart then.

Much prefer Wallace to him.

but imagine when both are healthy and playing well!

it'd still be great to add Kmart,

wallace doesnt change that

I know it wont happen....by my GOD can you imagine a Tyson/Zach/Melo frontline WTF

our rebounding issues would be a thing of the past for the next few years and you know Z-Bo aint no punk, he will add much-needed goon tangibles to the team as well.

Imma stop dreaming now. Reality sucks.

IDK seeing Amare and Melo as the 4 and 5 for any stretch together is enough reason to consider.

How is K-mart a tweener?

I like Kurt Thomas but would rather have K-Mart in stead. I like what I seen also last years playoffs when he helped the clippers. I wouldn't mind getting Irving but I doubt it will happen. I think Irving is better the Westbrook, my opinion.

I love what Sheed gave us but this season is too important to rely on him staying healthy--we should explore every option to deepen our bench for a playoff run. We definitely need another big like K-Mart if Sheed is a question mark.

‏@HowardBeckNYT
Official date for all contracts to become guaranteed is Jan. 10. But teams have to make cuts 3 days in advance because of waiver process.

@HowardBeckNYT
It's a 48-hour waiver process, and a player must clear waivers before Jan. 10 arrives

He was ok with it if we got Jennings too, they were a package according to him.

How, I dont know.

I hope Sheed can get healthy and wont be the one getting cut. He is a big part of our team. I think adding Kmart is pointless because hes not going to want to ride the bench. I think Sheed can give us more on the court then Kmart will honestly. Itll just cause a problem.

And why can't we have them both? Especially during playoff time.

no. i don't think they entertain cutting kurt either. he's got ties to guys who work here like alan, is a veteran voice in the locker-room. in the end i actually expect them to pass unless it's confirmed sheed might be out for the season.

Yea thats what im afraid of. If sheed is out for the season, that is a huge loss and probably will be the one to get cut. If he is cut, i hope we can keep him around...sort of like we are with Baron Davis. Hire him as an assistant coach lol.

blue and orange wrote:gotta make it happen, it keeps the Celtics and Heat from signing him, getting a big is an absolute need for the Heat, its a luxury for us. Cut White we gotta keep Kurt hes doing ok in limited minutes, he is a great guy to have on the roster for leadership and changing the culture of the knicks and I want to see him win a ring. Just once I would love to see Tyson, Camby, Sheed, Martin, Thomas on the floor together I know that would never happened but that would be very intimidating.

Those teams kept THEMSELVES from signing Kenyon. You have to ask yourself why.

Maybe Kmart has been extending his career by deciding to only play half seasons.
