According to Pringles effort on defense is the issue. So there you go. Just y'know, play defense. Simple as that.

This is rather shortsighted, don't you think? You're going to wish for one win just to get the overrated HC, instead of a story for the ages like the Lakers missing the postseason? Plus, you don't want to have to face a healthy Lakers team in the postseason, do you?

Homecourt is a huge factor for a Clipper team that is deeper and tends to feast off the energy of the fans. I see in no way the Lakers if by someway being able to upset the Spurs being the momentum change to boost them into the playoffs.

All the current playoff teams look legit to stay and even then if one falls out Minny still is looking to make a run when they get healthy.

STRAIGHT PIMP!

I still need to see him do it in the playoffs. Until then, he's nothing but a glorified 3rd option. Okay. I'm kidding.

Always loved Harden. Described him as a combination of Pierce and Ginobli prior to the draft. I was baffled by the people that doubted him coming out of ASU. I thought it was especially funny when he tested out as an excellent athlete at the predraft camp since a huge knock on him was that he wasn't athletic. He was the best SG prospect to enter the league since Wade (better than Roy). Doubting him after what he did in OKC only showed how awful most people are at evaluating talent. He **** people up when asked to run the offense in OKC.

What Harden is doing should not be a huge surprise. The sad thing is that this is not a guy that came out of nowhere on an awful team that no one watched. We all had the opportunity to watch Harden dominate in OKC. Jeff Van Gundy gushed about his ability as a ball handler/playmaker throughout the playoffs. He even made ridiculous statements like Harden was one of the best pick and roll players in the league regardless of position (what a nutjob that Van Gundy!).

He struggled against Miami in the Finals, but he was 22 and was asked to play a very big role. How many 22 year old players are asked to play a huge role on a Finals team? I'd like to see a list of players aged 22 or younger and how they performed in the FInals. The list would be tiny because almost no players actually are worthy of even playing on teams that get that far while at that age.

How does Harden compare to other 22 year old players that have played in the Finals?

Can everyone agree Harden is better than Westbrook, or is that still a debate?

Definitely not Kobe's fault. He's played great this year. I do think he's a garbage leader but the struggles have more to do with coaching and the supporting cast. Outside of their top 5 players, they have zero players who should be in an NBA rotation.

kobe took some terrible shots, but then again no gasol or dwight.
still think nash needs to run things more instead of passing it to kobe at 23 feet half the time.
the bench needs to have more confidence, but no one is giving them any confidence. there are capable players and shooters there.

i think this all came when nash had to go stretch. when he had to go it was in the middle of a cold streak, then came the big run that ended the game. if you're kobe why pass it to clark, sacre, duhon, or meeks?

Garbage? Were you saying that before the season started? And do you know how hard it is to miss the postseason in the NBA? If he misses the postseason with that type of cast, it will be a big black mark in his career, period.

He's talking about the team now without Dwight Pau and Hill is basically Nash and Kobe plus a bunch of D-leaguers

If you add up all the injuries, it adds up to one Hall-of-Famer missing the entire season(so far), but he still got two more. He should still be able to overcome it, unless he's not really that good.

Pau has played more like a D-leaguer than a hall-of-famer. Is that Kobe's fault?

Dwight has been recovering from a back injury and thus hasn't played like a hall-of-famer. Is that Kobe's fault??

Then maybe you should have declined those guys instead of trading for them? Sorry, but no takebacks. If you're going to blame others for losing, then maybe Kobe should give back those rings when he teamed up with Shaq, or Pau, Odom and Bynum, because all he did was gang up on less talented teams.

If Kobe doesn't make the postseason, it will be the biggest choke of all time really.
