I think the last couple games have shown this team can still compete with Dante and Derrick at the four if guys are hitting their shots. Rubio looks like he's getting back in shape as well. Just need a consistent shooter.

I think this is right on. Plus I would bet teams will be quick to dismiss the Wolves without KLove. That could work to their advantage, too.

How to get Redick without Derrick?

I think if we're keeping Derrick we're going to have to take on a bad contract - i.e. Gordon, Salmons, Rip, in order to upgrade that position -- unless we throwing multiple firsts in. And with Love out for the year is the season to go all in? I think we keep our assets -- DWill, 1sts, cap flexibility -- wait for Budinger to get back and see if this team can sneak into the playoffs.

Maybe we can't get Redick (although I think Orlando is bluffing with the Derrick + talk) but Roy's contract plus our other first plus maybe one of Ridnour or Barea should be able to get us someone who can suit up and shoot.

I would try Barea plus our first rd pick. Make it unprotected to entice the Magic. The other one is Roy plus protected pick for C.Lee.

The worst thing is that its long enough that if the Wolves manage to win games and get into playoff position without him then he can come back and ruin whatever chemistry and flow they have going right before the playoffs.

Now that Bradley is back we can probably get Lee for a bag of chips.

I'd bet that if the Wolves make the playoffs they'd still hold him out until next year.

There's plenty of time to get back into shape. We only need him early June.

“@Twolves_PR: #Twolves Kahn says Kevin Love started his rehab (hand surgery) 2day in NY. Dr wanted to start rehab there - should be back in approx 10 days”

“@Twolves_PR: #Twolves Kevin Love will do rest of rehab - after initial days in NY - will do rehab in Twin Cities.”

Well we got lucky in the undrafted talents of Alexey Shved, I think he would be our best bet for the lottery.

The smile doesn't do any good if there is no reason to smile! Can we send them both?

I vote for Alexey to be our representative. I'm sure everybody will feel bad looking at his face. They might get tricked into thinking he'll start to cry if we don't get lucky.

Maybe we could send both Ricky AND Alexey, and they bring their cats as good luck charms!
