Will he be able to defens NBA SGs?

Not right away IMO but he has the physical ability to be a solid defender. I think he kind of lacks that fire from the last few games I witnessed at least.

If he can go 10-12 & 6-6 from 3 I don't care if he doesn't play with a lot of energy just put in the hoop what Ricky gives you! :P

Which is why I would still take him. Guy can shoot NBA range and has a beautiful release.

I'd like to see him get a better handle and work on his iso game a bit more but nonetheless the guy has a pro made offensive game.

I think Shabazz could be pretty good as well. I like his aggressiveness to go inside and get to the line.

If our pick was later in first I'd take him in the 25-30 range

looks interesting and projected late first. just turned 19 a few months ago and already leading the russian league in scoring at 19ppg playing both wing positions ..god knows this team needs more russian flavour and need a lefty after manna, randy and supercool were here, though wolves lefty's isn't exactly a cool club. acquire mozgov and we'll be set. draft and stash and see what we have in a few years.

This draft isn't as bad as the "experts" make it sound. There are going to be several good PGs coming out. Some nice 7 footers as well.

Those PGs are mediocre and all have their flaws, like a poor man's version of the 2009 class. But I agree about the 7'-ers, bunch of interesting prospects.

I just want to get this straight: We have Memphis 1st (lotto-protected) this year in all likelihood. There is also an increasing likelihood that we will retain our own (top-13 protected to Phoenix) - However, the protection on our pick to Phoenix indicates that the Suns will receive the less favorable pick if we should have Memphis' pick as well as our own.

So there really is no point in holding on to the Memphis pick, in fact it behooves us to trade it, does it not?

If we trade the MEM pick and finish in the lotto, we will still owe Phoenix a pick next year. So no, it would not be smart to trade it. Late 20s pick in a weak draft is what Phoenix will get, rather than likely a mid to late teens pick in a stronger 2014 draft

they'll get the Memphis pick and Taylor/Kahn will be happy to oblige. Keeping one 1st rounder has been hard enough, having to keep two would make their head explode.

Someone on Twitter just compared him to Sam Cassell.
