Top Lottery Teams Fits and Needs
The top 7 lottery teams are likely going to be Charlotte, Cleveland, Phoenix, Orlando, Washington, New Orleans, Detroit.
My guess is in that order, maybe switch Phoenix and Cleveland.
Charlotte best fits: McLemore, Muhammad, Len, Zeller (needs PF/C)
Cleveland best fits: Len, Zeller, Bennett (needs SF/FC)
Phoenix best fits: McLemore, Muhammad, Noel (needs SG/FC)
Orlando best fits: Muhammad, Zeller, Noel, Burke (biggest need PG?)
Washington best fits: Zeller, Noel, Bennett, Muhammad (biggest need SF/PF)
New Orleans best fits: Len, Austin, Bennett, Porter (biggest need SF/C)
Detroit best fits: Goodwin, Porter (biggest need SG/SF)
-> possible top targets?
1. Charlotte - Muhammad
2. Cleveland - Len
3. Phoenix - McLemore
4. Orlando - Noel
5. Washington - Zeller
6. New Orleans - Bennett
7. Detroit - Goodwin

Minnesota will be up there soon sadly: McLemore, Shabazz, Noel, Len (SG/defensive big)

Don't see it they have 16 wins already a number that eg Phoenix probably won't reach by the end of february given that the names you mentioned are likely top 5 picks I don't see how Minnesota finishes with a worse record than Phoenix, Charlotte, Cleveland, Orlando and Washington.

Zeller is not a fit for anyone. He is a classic Grade A bust.

Fwiw, when you're a high lotto team, I think you almost have to think talent over position/needs.

You obviously haven't watched them lately.

Len or Shabazz for the Cavs.

McLemore for the Bobcats, providing the elite 3pt shooting/spacing beside MKG at SF

This. They have been slumping. Now Pek is out a week or more. No clue on if Shved is good to go.
Rubio, Barea
Ridnour,Gelebale
AK47, Gelebale
Williams, Cunningham
Steamer, Amundson
Injured players: Love, Pek, Shved, Budinger, Roy.
That team will probably go winless until Pek, and Shved get back. Even then they were struggling.
McLemore, Noel are the best fits for the Wolves.

Re: Top Lottery Teams Fits and Needs
in a draft where there aren't really any clear cut stars I think looking for need is okay
I'm 99% positive the Magic will be the first to take a point guard with Jameer being injured all the time

Depending on where they fall I could see the Pistons taking a PG, especially Trey Burke if he's available and moving Brandon Knight to the 2.

McLemore is the guy for Bobcats I think. He has good complementary skillset next to Kemba, and has the tools to be an excellent team defender. Len is also a nice pick for then.

I could see them taking Shabazz to play at SG if McLemore isn't available. Len is a decent option. Noel, though they might prefer more immediate offense. Is Biyombo strictly a PF or can he play some C? If so they could play two PF/C guys in Zeller/Biyombo.

If the Pistons are taking a PG, they need to take a tall one like MCW

Biyombo typically plays center but he's a bit undersized.
Charlotte's biggest need by far is a PF/C with low post scoring, rebounding, and in a perfect world size to complement Biz. Unfortunately, all the bigs in this draft are either pretty raw or not worth spending a top 5 pick on. The only 'big' worth drafting is Bennett but he's undersized. Len is definitely not worth a top 5, Zeller is borderline thanks to low upside.
Their 2nd biggest need is a go-to scoring wing. I prefer Muhammad just b/c scoring seems to be in his blood and he has nice size for an NBA 2. MKG can cover any of his defensive weaknesses. McLemore would be a nice boost to their athleticism and his shot looks flawless. But is he that much of an upgrade to Henderson to be worth a top 5 pick?

BLazers - pg competition: defensive minded playmaker (Smart ? )
- Center competition (Len, and only Len unless Adams declares)

Best fits for Detroit
1) SG- Shabazz, Mclemore (Scoring Wing that can shoot)
3) PG- Micheal Carter- Williams (A big PG that allows Knight to play off ball but defend PGs)
4) SF- Otto Porter (Utility SF to take over after Prince)

Re: Top Lottery Teams Fits and Needs
Most of these teams are still in BPA territory (except Clev can't draft a pure PG).
Cha example:
MKG is very good, but he can hit with any player in the draft.
Kemba is good, but not good enough stop you from picking a franchise PG if you think one's available.
No one else on that team is even worth considering.
