Great win for UW. Congrats to Bucky on getting the ship righted and beating down a very good Indiana squad (again).

I didn't think the Badgers would beat any of the top half Big Ten teams including Illinois; I was wrong.

That game was in Madison and was non-conference. This was a bigger win.

He said it was the biggest win since the Texas game in 2007. I'm pretty sure Texas is non-conference.

I just meant the Duke win was bigger or as big as the Texas win. Last night was a bigger win than both.

It was also a road game.

Has the Big Ten ever been this strong? You could make a strong argument that there are 6 or 7 teams with a legit shot at the conference title. My guess is at least 2 or 3 teams end up sharing it.

It's as good as it has been since early 1990's, IMO. That period the Big Ten was absolutely LOADED, especially for wings. Between 91-94 you had Steve Smith, Jim Jackson, Big Dog, Calbert Cheaney, Shawn Respert, Michael Finley, Jalen Rose, Voshon Lenard, and I am probably missing others.

Also, regarding Stone: My guess is he ends up at a blue blood school. His favorite schools growing up were Duke and North Carolina. Holding out hope that he follows Wilson to Marquette though.

I think there's a lot of parity and no really great teams in the Big Ten, which wouldn't bode well in March most years but there's parity all over the country.

Yeah, I haven't paid as close of attention to NCAA ball this year as I've been quite busy but it doesn't seem like there is much for dominant teams in the NCAA as a whole. I think the Big 10 will do just fine given that they have like 7 teams to wade through that parity in the tournament.

Yeah there definitely aren't any dominant teams in college basketball this year. Duke was probably the closest, but they didn't have a lot of depth even before Ryan Kelly went down. I wouldn't be surprised if the Big Ten had 5 or more Sweet 16 teams depending on what the bracket ultimately looks like.

So this was the UW locker room after the game last night. Wait for about 0:22 in for some epic Sam Dekker white boy dance moves. We are so white.

I haven't watched much WI basketball this season, how's Jim Jackson's son Traevon looking?

So much for Bucky not making the tourney. This is probably Wisco's worst team of the next 4-5 seasons too, at least on paper. Adding Gasser, Koenig, Hayes, Brown, Hill, Dearring to this current roster. Only big loss next year is Berggren (I'm not an Evans fan, Bruiser is replaceable).

Traevon Jackson's development has been crazy. Bo's just a great player development coach.

No kidding. Watching Jackson early in the year, it was shocking just how over-matched he looked as a starting PG in a quality program like Wisconsin, especially after a pretty long run of very solid to good point guards that Bo had in place with Mike Kelly, Chris Rock, Travon Hughes, and then Taylor.

Don't forget about Devin.

It got to a point yesterday that I was worried when Jackson fouled out. He was carrying himself like a floor general out there at certain points. That pull up jumper late in the 4th was the back breaker for Indiana.

Huge game tonight as it pertains to the Big Ten Title chase. #5 Michigan @ #9 Minnesota. Winner gets a big time conference win. Loser falls 2 games back of Wisconsin. This is the only time the two teams will play during conference play. Should be a good game.

Yeah it's tough to watch. At least we don't have to play them again. At this point I think Michigan is clearly the favorite in the Big Ten, at least from a talent perspective. I guess they have the toughest conference schedule so that may come back to bite them, but they are incredibly athletic and can also shoot.

Not over yet, Minnesota is good, they need to stop digging themselves giant holes to get out of.

I know they've dug themselves big holes the past two games, but Minnesota seems quite legit when they have it together. I don't recall the last time they were this talented and this good. The B10 is insanely loaded this year, especially considering that there are no runaway elite teams in the NCAA this season.

After these last two games, I can't wait to get some games against Penn State and Nebraska.
