Too bad I like her, going to work for Comcast.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

My heart is broken.

ETA: I'm actually surprised it took her this long to get a higher profile job (unless she had turned them down). Plus, she is from Illinois isn't she?

Yeah she's from there, I think the Rockford area. At least Fox still has Jenna Sachs, Nicole Koglin and Angelica Duria.

When I moved to the GB a few summers ago I lost all the local Milwaukee stations. It's brutal up here for hot newswomen.

Not too late to become a Blackhawks viewer. In fact, you haven't missed anything yet...

Agreed. A few okay ones around but no real "hot" ones per se.

She was a lifelong FIB who happened to go to Marquette and then got hired by Pip. So doesn't surprise me she's out.

I'm more surprised it lasted this long in Milwaukee. I think once the pros start making her up, she'll hit ESPN level within three years.

Good, never was a fan. My harsh truth, just a cute face who knew enough about sports to fool the average Joe like most of you. Sorry just my own opinion

I can get on board with this on the limited I heard of her. Usually I heard her as the sub for the D-List and I'd sporatically listen, and also followed her on twitter for awhile. I ended up unfollowing and she never did much for me when hosting. But I'm judging on a limited sample size which I understand is probably unfair.

I think the whole industry has that problem. They have to balance the draw that hot women and former players bring to a broadcast versus the actual sports knowledge and abilities of said people.

There was a guy on Milwaukee sports radio years ago name Pat Sheridan. The guy was a football genius who could diagnose line play brilliantly. He also was a great NFL draft-nik. The reason he ended up with a Milwaukee sports radio gig at the end of his career was because he got booted off his job as a color analyst for NFL and College football national radio broadcasts just when the era of putting jocks in the booth started. Pat was eminently qualified. But he wasn't a former player nor female nor photogenic.

Lada was legit. She knew her stuff and was great at interviews.

I can't understand how people complain about not having enough "hot women" in sports and when we have one that actually knows her stuff she gets labeled an idiot on here (by some).

She's a big loss in the Milwaukee market.

The girls from tmj4 and channel 12 were more legit but aren't hot enough to get respect from the rest of the men in this city smh. I can care less about looks all I care is you know what your talking about. I wasn't fooled by lada looks'

And Lada was cute, but I don't think she was drop dead gorgeous either.

I also think there are alot of "hot" women that work in sports. Unless you are speaking from a local standpoint I actually think b/w Comcast, ESPN, etc there are alot of nice looking ladies working.

Channel 4 as in Jessie Garcia? She's horrible, both in looks and in knowledge. Stephanie Sutton is weak as well.

I'm ok with Jesse. In fairness to her, she had the opportunity to move to the big time 15-years ago when she still had the looks big-time and was in the Lada role now. I think in one instance WTMJ enforced her contract and in the other she decided to settle in Milwaukee. But ESPN was all over her.
