Pick our next GM

Post#1 » by cdel00 » Sat Jan 19, 2013 3:30 am

Marc Eversly, with Alex Rucker as assistant GM. They get my vote.

Marc knows his prospects. Alex is the analytical young blood to balance Marc's "eye" for talent.

Our next GM probably isn't even out of highschool yet. It'll be a long time.

Our head of scouting wanted Lillard badly.
Rucker is an advanced analytical stat freak.

Our market needs guys who can load us up with young talent.

whoever it is can't possibly be any worse:

Hedo Turkey.....5 year 53 million
Jason Kapono....4 year 24 million
Andrea Bargs.....5 year 50 million
Jose................5 year 45 million
Demar.............4 year 38 million

that adds up to $210 million dollars. Wasn't that long ago you could buy an NBA franchise for $200 million

he also traded away 8 draft picks. Three first rounders, 5 second rounders. Plus the draft rights to 2 euros

and a couple of those second round picks turned into Goran Dragic and Jonas Jerebko

after all that MLST decided he deserved a promotion to president
