I hope Meer and BBD are okay.

Edit: I meant Meer, not JJ.

Sorry, I meant Jameer. Though, I'm always worried about JJ.

Well it's reported that Meer has a sore hip again and Baby has a sore back. I assume both are questionable for Sunday against the Mavs.

No sign of Jameer or Big Baby after the game. Media will get a hold of them Saturday probably or get an update at practice. Just watch the Redick interview and you get a full sense of the frustration and bewilderment of tonight.

JoshuaBRobbins: Jacque Vaughn said Jameer Nelson's left hip -- the same hip that forced him to miss 2 games last month -- is sore again.

There is nothing you can say to deserve a tech in a close game with under a mintue left, the officiating have been completly one sided throughout the entire game.

I was too pissed off to post during the game. Magic should have won this game as they displayed at the end of the game. If only they would play with a sense of urgency throughout the game like that. I felt a little better when I saw that the Wizards beat the Nuggets. Thus, looks like bottom feeders beat better teams today.

LOL @JJ. That interview couldn't finish fast enough for him. I've been pretty optimistic all year but now I just don't know. We're not competing on D. Does anybody else think we miss Gustavo's hustle. If we can't put it together here pretty soon and start being more consistent then I am all for tanking.

I don't think it's so much that, just certain types of teams give the Magic headaches. The Wizards and Bobcats aren't all that skilled, but they have some similarities in terms of their makeup. Both have agressive poin't guards that aren't very good shooters but difficult to stop from penetrating and are murder in transition. Both have strong bigs that play physical inside leading to second chance points.

Anyway I've said the Magic need to focus on trying to win two out of every three. They just got done beating the Clippers and Pacers so I still believe the potential is there to do that with this unit. Of-course it looks like injuries are gonna derail that again though.

Here is a fun stat for everyone:

Record for fewest Team FT attempts in an 82 game season: 1,620

At their current pace, Magic this year will attempt: 1,328

OUCH...that is flat out horrible. I am not a conspiracy theorist...I don't blame refs, I blame a general lack of team speed and aggression. Based on that stat alone, I would say our current record is an OVERacheivement rather than an UNDERacheivement. I think I have both feet back in the tank after looking at that.

I just need at least 11 more wins out of the guys. That's all. Then I will have a nice payout.
