IS Raps management banking on Quincy Acy?

Post#1 » by TheRealMacDaddy » Sat Jan 19, 2013 12:38 am

Ed Davis and Amir Johnson will be valuable trade pieces, and we have a young PF in Quincy Acy. If he continues his stellar play of late, will Raps be able to trade away both amir and ed for what we need and promote Acy to the strting ineup? As I wirte this Quincy with the block and then dunk. Confidence is off the charts.

Yes because our 1st round picks are disasters. 2nd round picks ftw.

He's shown good energy in limited minutes in a couple games. We should probably hold off on the championship celebration for now.

If he continues averaging 5.6ppg and 3rpg the past 5 games throughout the season, I'm sure that would make Ed Davis expendable.

Acy is awesome, I watched too many Baylor games for me not to expect this effort...

But c'mon, he's only played like 3 solid games thus far lol

Espn Has him listed as a SF. We need a 3 so bad but can't see him he playing that position? usually a 3 should have a 3 point shot shouldn't they?

Rap fans are officially so desperate we've crossed over to delusional.

The answer is no. But that doesn't mean you can't really like him as a player or that he doesn't have a spot on the team.

Just no one is banking on him to be anything other than a defensive sparkplug off the bench.

That said he has far exceeded my expectations already and I like what he's done on the floor

If Acy can continue to improve and be consistent then we can keep two of he, Ed, and Amir. All would be good value big men to pair with Jonas.
