The Magic do nothing wrong, do not commit fouls....they are perfect.

Surprise anyone would say the Lakers. They are more tough on the Lakers than anyone. IMO most Big City announcers are somewhat unbiased. Those cities know the game to well to just be blind homers it often reflects in the tv broadcast. Except for Boston which is a joke. Stacy King is a homer but he still be very critical of the Bulls when he needs.

Yeah even going back to the Chick era, Chick and Stu would always point out when a call was questionable and it went the Lakers way.

Almost all of the local announcers are awful. On the Bulls board, King and Funk are a running joke. Sean Elliot deserves to get fired. Boston's are terrible. Portland's can talk a long walk off a short pier. Orlando's suck. etc.

Its much, much easier to come up with a list of local announcers that are tolerable. NJ and NY are the best that come to mind for me.

Usually they are pretty objective but every once in while they find a team and start bashing the hell of it, Last night was a perfect example.
No idea why they felt the need to keep bashing the bobcats throughout the game, I hate when commentators do that.

As far as officiating goes, they usually point out the blatant mistakes(in favout of either side)but for the most part they dont really say anything.

The Spurs crew is the only ones that made me turn off a game because of them.
Hawks and Kings are pretty dull.
If you want to try to measure the elements of basketball that are supposedly unmeasurable, spend a game just watching Marc Gasol.

Celtics, Spurs, Cavs.

Tommy is by far the worst, I know Celts fans think he can do know wrong, but his heavy breathing alone is enough to change the channel.

I forget the game it took place in last week, but Tommy was basically yelling “fraud” at Violet Palmer lol.

Surprised to see no one has mentioned the Grizz yet. Brevin Knight is a work in progress to say the least, Sean Tuohy is a giant homer (but he seems to have toned it down alittle bit this year), and Pete Pranica is extremely repetitive and homerish.

Love the Nets commentators. Ian Eagle is awesome.

My 3 worst are Nuggets, Celtics, and Spurs. Most local commentators are going to be homers. These guys take it to a whole other level

Tommy Heinsohn is the worst homer since Johnny Most (his mentor). I'd rather listen to a smoke alarm going off for two and a half hours than Heinsohn.

Austin Carr is an opinionated, uniformed moron

Sean Elliot is terrible. Homerism and lack of insight from a guy who is intelligent and a former player. he could be so much better.

Honorable mention to Portland and Miami

Also, let me say that as a knicks fan, Walt Frazier is REALLY starting to get on my nerves. He's objective, and calls things without being a homer, but the rhyming thing is just getting so old.
All in all he's just another prick with no wall

I have listened to pretty much all contenders commentators.

Worst is obviously Boston closely followed by Spurs. They are homers.

Recently i have listened to miami commentators though they are not really homers but man they are very hard to listen no feel no emotion. They have weird reactions to 3 and lebron dunks

Then of course how can we forget Austin Carr.

Almost all the commentators are homers and they are supposed to be but some are on a whole different level just obnoxious

Celtics and Bulls for me, but I don't watch Western feeds very often. I actually don't mind the Bulls commentators most of the time, but there's moments where they go crazy.

I'll add the Raptors too. Devlin is a decent PbyP guy, but Jack Armstrong (even though I love him), I imagine opposing teams fans wouldn't like the guy.

Many are bad. Come on though. Miami's 'coach' Tony Fiorentino and Eric Reid are so bad and weird. They talk like they work at Disneyland on the PA system.
