Mike Brown sounds off about the Lakers

http://sportsradiointerviews.com/2013/01/17/mike-brown-fired-los-angeles-lakers-head-coach-nba/

“First of all, I don’t care where you work in or anybody you work for, nobody wants to be let go at any time. Don’t get that wrong. Thing about it is I get paid very good money and part of it is to deal with the public pressure that comes along with the job, in my opinion, and that’s one of them. "

He also answered questions about the Princeton Offense
“Oh no. First of all, no. This is the sad part about it. If anybody knows basketball that understood it and watched basketball and knows basketball, they would have saw that even the ‘Princeton offense’ or the thing they saw that we were doing wasn’t the Princeton offense. You could talk to Pete Carril and his head would probably be spinning 360 degrees and a million times a minute trying to explain to somebody what we were doing. It wasn’t the Princeton offense."

He also answered questions about did he believe Phil was the coach to replace him
“I don’t know if they had an opportunity to get Phil, because I wasn’t part of the conversation. [laughs] If they did have an opportunity to get Phil, you would think that would be the direction they would go. He’s a guy that obviously has won more championships than anybody in the history of the game and he’s brought a lot of success to the organization and if you thought they had an opportunity to get that guy

Mike Brown was on Dan Lebatard's show and answered questions about the Lakers. Its a really good interview check it out.

Don't know why the media is talking to Brown, there's nothing that he can say that we didn't already know. And of course we knew that wasn't the Princeton Offense, there were hardly any back door screens.

I wish we could have just DEMOTED Mike Brown to the defensive coach. He still gets 5 mil a year. I would love to see a tandem of Mike Brown preaching D at practice and Mike D'Antonie running the offense.

Mike Brown is offense challenged and Mike D'Antonie is defense challenged. Teamed up the would be GREAT!

AND THE LAKERS ARE STILL PAYING BOTH! Too bad about pride and title preventing it.
Lakers are 22-3 in OT last 6 seasons:Kobe best OT closer!

brown got let go too soon.

sure, it mightn't have gotten better by much (compared to now), but at least we wouldn't be having the what is pau doing discussion every 10 minutes

I could care less about what potato head has to say. I didn't care about the words that came out of his mouth then and I don't care about the words that are coming out of his mouth now.

Mike is the winner here. He gets to sit home and still collect over 10 million in the next few years for doing nothing and maybe getting another job worth millions and another pay check. Winner. Mr. Brown. AKA Coach...

well you didn't have to post that you didn't care.

in fact, posting that you couldn't care less undercuts your claim of not caring less

it's therefore obvious that you do in fact care

Huh, it's a figure of speech, an expression and I truly don't care about Brown has to say. I'm just glad he is no longer the head coach.
