With Pekovic and Shved back we might have a chance to ball at .500 for the rest of the year. I doubt that's enough to reach the playoffs, though.

It's enough to send #14 to Phoenix though.

I'm just sad because it's only lack of coaching. Both Barea and Luke are obviously players who feel more comfortable shooting it than making plays, and Porter lets them do that, instead of forcing them to try and make plays. Luke and JJ really need to realize they are the reason we are the worst team in 3PT%. They need to realize it is not them who need to be the ones taking more responsibility with Love and Pek injured. Gelabale got no balls, Johnson got no balls, DWill didn't get them much either in the 2nd half and that's the story of the game.

I think Ricky can't play more than 10 min at decent level

I think the Gophers and Wolves need to get together and trade secrets. The Wolves can show the Gophers how to play in the 1st half and the Gophers can show the Wolves how to play the 2nd.

Dude at least get your numbers straight. It's not that difficult...This season 3pt%

Luke Ridnour: .321%
Derrick Williams: .342%
JJ: .333%

Vs

Shved: .315%
AK: .286%
Budinger: .304%
Kevin Love: .217% <------ Get a calculator and try it. THIS is the reason we are last at 3pt this year.

That's interesting. He was tied for best plus minus (+6) with Barea. Everybody else was negative.
What would you pay a guy putting up 18 and 11 in the playoffs?

Yeah, I thought Steimsma looked pretty good in the minutes he played. Amundson on the other hand...

Derrick Williams is our best 3pt shooter? Nice!

He was alright. He was getting owned in the second half though. Just like everyone else.

and then being in Bjelica. We need the tandem of Jelly Belly.

Sucks I had to miss this one, but maybe best I did. Did we seriously blow a 20 point lead? How did Jello & CJ do? Williams had a nice stats as well along with 37 min of play? Must have played great.

It's only a matter of time before he shows why he was drafted 2nd, his main issue has just been putting it all together consistently and that's beginning to happen more and more often, Rubio isn't even at full speed yet and Williams has been balling.

Until D-Will shows he can get to the basket consistently without being blocked, he'll never realize his potential. He really needs to work on that in the off-season

I seriously doubt we play .500 the rest of the way. That's asking a lot

I hated that homer announcer on Fox Sports.

And at the end, praising the Hawks for somehow, being able to overcome all their injuries, and win tonight. A real gutty performance!

It was pretty funny, how the play by play guys at the beginning of the game were all nice and praised us, then as the game got closer they started whining and complaining about calls and arguing.

I actually liked 'Nique as a color commentator. He didn't do much analysis, mostly just a lot of "that's right" but he didn't detract from the game, either. He comes across as a fan of the game. When the Wolves were playing well he praised them. When the Hawks were playing well he praised them. I can see how people wouldn't like that from a color guy, though.

At least they knew enough that that flagarant foul on Dante was a good hard foul.
