If LA wants Ellis, Daly or Udrih then sure. The Bucks would make for great trade partners.

A prediction.. hmm
Bucks stand pat
Give Jennings 5/60m
Ellis/Udrih/Dale/Dunleavy walk next season for nothing
We sign Millsap for 4/58m
We sign Devin Harris for 3/20m
We sign Johny Flynn 2/4m
resign Daniels

Jennings/D.Harris/Flynn
D.Harris/Daniels/Lamb
T.Harris/Moute
Millsap/Ersan/Henson
Sanders/Udoh/Gooden/Pryz

if the lakers dont want salary back then ellis/ dalembert/udoh for gasol would be go time for me.

i just would make certain that we had a 2nd deal for a random sg in place before we pulled the trigger. ellis impact wouldnt be difficult to replace but the idea that hes somehow a net negative is dumb. we wouldnt be better with simple subtraction. we'd need a random veteran sg..... think delfino/ bellineli level..... available to replace him. then wed use that guy along with dunleavy at that spot, and give mam and harris more minutes at the 3.

henson, ersan, sanders, and gasol would be a premier frontcourt in the league. we wouldnt need much to compliment them and not see a marked improvement.

I don't even think I'd include Udoh. Ellis/Dalembert, take it or leave it. I think most Laker fans were up for that deal actually.

And I'd only do the above deal if we were mandated to make a win now move, much rather get a lottery pick or young prospect if we can for Monta.

I don't think that gets it done for Redick, but I'd do that.

add the pick.... chase affalo or redick with the pick. that pick in this draft is worth giving up if we go get gasol. either one of those gaurds would make us nasty.

jennings/ udrih
redick/ dunleavy
mam/ dunleavy
sanders/ ersan
gasol/ henson

that lineup makes alot of noise in the playoffs

Jennings / Afflalo / Mam / Sanders / Pau would at least finally be an extremely solid win now roster.

I know I'm in the huge minority
but id rather do

Milwaukee - Toronto
Ellis for Derozan/Kleiza

Milwaukee - New York
Gooden/Kleiza/Ersan/2nd for Stoudemire/Shumpert

Jennings/Udrih
Shumpert/Dunleavy/Lamb
Derozan/Moute/Harris
Stoudemire/Henson/Udoh
Sanders/Dale/Pryz

Wouldn't take on Amare's uninsured contract for anything.
Trade S. Jackson soon. NJ seems like a nice place for him.

You don't think it would be a good idea to pay Amare 20m for each of the next two years? Stun

gooden/ersan/kleiza for 18m or amare 20 .. seems a wash, we don't need depth... kleiza and gooden should never play so its beasically Ersan vs Amare at the PF, and hes off the books about the time we need to pay Larry and Henson

and getting shumpert is the goal.

That's true but if they want to salvage this season and next year, they need to do something drastic, which is likely to occur given Kobe's age.

Trade Kobe.

Yeah .. they should, but they won't. He'll retire a Laker.

There are five PF/C I'd rather give minutes to than Amare currently on this roster.

The Bucks don't have nearly enough trash to make any deal for Amare worth their while unless it includes multiple unprotected future first-round picks from the Knicks. Gooden isn't even half the gutter trash that Amare is right now. The Knicks have nothing else of real value except Chandler and Melo, and they're not trading either of those two to dump Amare.

I'm not sure he wants to if they can't compete for a title. Normally I would think that would be a huge factor, but in Kobe's case I wouldn't be so sure.

So it seems unlikely the Bucks blow it up this year

Ok so why would we trade for Kleiza then?
