Roll with Jennings/JSmith/Sanders

Josh Smith wouldn't fit with this frontcourt. His perimeter game will always be so-so at best. I prefer Ersan much to Josh Smith.

If there's one player in the entire league that I'm positive wouldn't play in Milwaukee, it's Smith.

this isn't a blow up trade but how about....

Ellis/T. Harris

for

Afflalo/D. Jones

there is some chatter on the Magic board that Orlando might be leaning towards keeping Redick and are shopping Afflalo. They also seem to think SF is a weak spot on their team.

A lot of people here would like to see Afflalo as a Buck. I threw Jones in to help match salaries, but it doesn't hurt to get a look at a young SG.

I still prefer a deal centered around OKC.

Someone like Moute and/or removing Perkins salary becomes a bigger deal if they fail to win the championship this year.

And I actually wouldn't mind having Perkins as the overpaid Kurt Thomas on this team, since our bigs would be so young.

Dalembert
Moute
Udoh

for

Perkins
Reggie Jackson
Jeremy Lamb

Again, not sure how close that is in terms of value, but it sheds salary for them, while getting one extremely useful piece for a championship team, and a good defensive young big that won't be asked to score on a cheap contract.

Obviously for us, we get an overpaid positive veteran influence in Perkins, but two very nice young pieces that fill two huge needs for us.

Jennings, Jackson
Lamb, Dunleavy, Lamb
Harris, Dunleavy
Lly, Henson, Gooden
Sanders, Perkins,

Plus, whatever we can get for Ellis. Or sign a guy like Morrow or Reddick.

Jennings, Jackson
Reddick, Lamb, Lamb
Harris, Dunleavy
Lly, Henson, Gooden
Sanders, Perkins

Plus you draft pick....Great looking young core going into next year.

I don't think either team has much of an incentive to make that move, but I'm wondering if you would. Like the "would you deal Sanders for a top draft pick" thread, I'm just curious.

I'd move Sanders and Udoh for Cousins.

We'd get a better version of last season's offense without a short bus rider in the middle on D. I'd do it yesterday. Henson and Tobes would have a great chance at developing into post weapons with that spacing. Sign Reddick and we are set.

Jennings (hopefully not too expensive)
Redick/Lamb
Tobes/Luc
Ersan/Henson
Horford/Udoh

I don't have the guts to make that deal for Horford.

Larry Sanders appears to be a game changing player on defense. And he gets better each week. I want to see how this movie ends.

I think the Hawks would do that deal without question.

No to the horford deal. Last year I would have but this year it's an easy pass. Then again, I don't view Harris like some here do.

I'm not sure I trade for Horford just because the former, potential Bogut Horford frontcourt is too miserable to think about.

Talent upgrade bro. Amare is back and Iman gives us the deepest backcourt in the east.

I don't think anyone in their right mind would trade for Amare and his uninsured contract.

I wouldn't trade Larry for Al Horford either. I don't see Horford as an upgrade over Sanders and I'd like to get some kind of young asset or pick for Monta.
