Kings ineptness at drafting and trading reaching new heights, surprised they did this with a sale imminent

Based on how Robinson's looked this year, that's not a bad deal for Sacramento, but it's pulling the plug quickly on a #5 pick - one decent rotation guy and a sort-of-tolerable backup guard.

I don't get it at all either... I understand he's been less than what he should've been, but he's only played in 50 games so far... That team is so incompetent...

Yeah, in all 30 minutes he played! Seriously, the Kings didn't give that guy any sort of a chance to prove anything.

How inept is the Kings organization.

If i'm the GM of the Kings i would be too embarassed to make this trade. Either way he loses.

If Robinson turns out to be a bust, he made a terrible pick.
If Robinson turns out well, he made a terribad trade.

I do like the pairing of Patterson with college teammate cousins; this could actually help cousins a lot

Curious of why HOU traded Patterson. He is a good win now stretch 4. Been on a nice run as of lately. Would of been perfect next to Dwight if they could get him.

COULD be a good trade for both. If Robinson can turn into what we all hoped, maybe he can be a starting PF for the Rockets. I also think Patterson fits next to Cousins better, and it helps that they played together before.

Added the standard poll.

Leaning both Houston and Sac won the trade, but that is assuming the team leaves to Seattle, and every bit of suckiness that Maloofs can do will make the fans in Sac feel better. Totally questionable trade for a questionable organization, and Houston is (unsurprisingly) there to benefit.

Rockets still need more cap to offer Howard his max. This gets them closer.

Morey strikes again! Lol Seriously this a good low risk deal for them... TRob would appear to fit well between Asik and Parsons. The guys they gave up are just filler really. Does this mean the Kings are staying in Sacto? Because if had just bought a team and was moving it to a new market I wouldn't be letting the GM trade the 5th overall pick from the previous year. Just saying.

All the talk that Morey was not to make a move around Houston and he does this. He gives up very little and gets the top 5 pick from last years draft. Plus I hear they got a second. To me this a move to get someone else if they miss on Howard which I think they believe they will. Still one more move to be made Morey to strengthen the bench
