Had a thought, maybe a 2k idea or might actually be plausible. Who knows, either way I felt like this was the place to post this. Considering this years deadline is closing in and Atlanta needs to unload J Smooth, I thought this trade might actually be fair. Who says no and why?

NYK trades: Amare Stoudemire, Iman Shumpert, and a 1st Round Pick
NYK receives: Josh Smith, Zaza Pachulia

ATL trades: Josh Smith, Devin Harris, Zaza Pachulia, and a 1st Round Pick (2013)
ATL receives: Amare Stoudemire, Monta Ellis, Joel Pryzbillia, 1st from NYK, 1st from MIL

MIL trades: Monta Ellis, Joel Pryzbillia, Future 1st Round Pick (Protected)
MIL receives: Iman Shumpert, Devin Harris

Who says no and why?

Atlanta says no because they don't want Amare's contract

Whoops, ATL receives picks from MIL and NYK. They don't relinquish a pick, typo on my part.

Yes they take amare's contract but possibly build a team that can get over the hump. If they can't get anyone else it's not crazy that they'd take a flier on amare, is it?

injury prone, under-sized SGs seem to have a lot of value to some members of this forum.

also, thanks for posting the source of this rumor.

If we take Eric Gordon we better get Robin Lopez. Eric is over priced.

Best move for the Knicks would be to trade for DJ Augustine. His price tag cant be high. He's hardly playing in Indy. Felton is winded and tired!!!

He's the backup point guard to a rival team. Yeah...they must be dying to trade him to us.

Im just tired of watching that tired Felton wear down game after game. Time to give him some rest. Hes not in NBA season enduring shape.

The people on prosportsdaily were all asking the guy for the source on his Gordon idea, he said he got it from twitter but wouldn't post a link. Obviously the guy just pulled it out of his @$$.

The Knicks never win trades that much anyways lol

I'm still of the belief the Knicks stand pat and make no trades.
