Great move. One less guard and one more big man.

At least it addresses our lack of outside shooting.

I'm pretty disappointed in this trade. With our developmental track record, our log jam of young bigs up front, and lack of guard depth, all I can do is shake my head. Just want to remind everyone, that this is the guy who got a concussion from walking into a door.

Talk about maximizing your assets. This guy was being compared to Gilbert Arenas a month ago...now he's traded for a d-league superstar.

Ernie Grunfeld...you sly devil.

What are the odds that Ernie thinks he just traded for a different Melo?

Way to go Wizards! Take a decent bench player having his best year, bench him and drive down his value, then, while dealing from a position of weakness, trade him for a DLeague scrub big man.

+1

Horrible trade. If this isn't Emperor Ernie's final nail in the coffin...
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!

Sorry Hands...your boy is gone. Done dealio.

I really wouldn't be surprised if the Celtics turn Crawford into a useful player, however. There's no way KG is going to let Crawford chuck on offense. None.

Yes, something doesn't add up. There must have been some serious drama behind closed doors for this situation to go down this way.

I just don't understand the timing of this trade.

Wizards/Celts deal sending Jordan Crawford to Boston will not be for C Fab Melo, per source. Teams still working.

Just... terrible. Terrible. WTF is going on here? How do you trade your team's leading scorer for a D league oaf?

I'm no Chuck Crawford fan but what a terrible trade.

Grunfeld needs to take an Economics class or two.
Eric Maynor is the worst basketball player I've ever seen.

Not for Fab Melo? Maybe it's for their first...now that would be a miracle.

I genuinely did not think it was possible for me to be disappointed by a deal that let us dump Crawford, but we managed to do it. Grunfeld continues to bottom himself!
