It's been a fun ride JJ. I used to hate you, but you made yourself into a bonafide NBA player and you have a bright future.

I love you, man.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.
- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

Re: The Farewell JJ Thread
Thanks JJ!
I remember the first few years when he was a Magic. We demolished him, saying he wouldn't amount to anything in this league. Boy, a lot of us were wrong about him.
Good player, who worked hard to be where he is now and I really respect that.

He goes down as an all-time Magic fan favorite. Dude was legit.
Fan popularity list is probably:
Diener*
Anderson
Skiles
Armstrong
Redick
Outlaw
...something like that.

Was hoping he would retire a magic, but i guess it wasn't in the cards. It's a shame he's banished to Milwaukee though. Hopefully he passes on the extra money and goes to a contender in the summer.

Re: The Farewell JJ Thread
J.J. Redick was one of the most popular players in Magic history.
I hope he returns to Orlando one day.
He is a class act and someone who will be missed.
Nothing but the best to you J.J. Redick.

GOOD LUCK JJ!!!
Man what a player he has turned himself into. A legit threat on a contending team nowadays & somebody who can take over a ballgame with his basketball IQ.
Hope you get out of Milwaukee ASAP bud.

Farewell JJ. Thanks for the memories. Sucks to see a player we drafted and grow from a guy that couldnt get off the bench with SVG into a solid NBA player. I live in Baltimore MD so I hated JJ in college obviously but he quickly became one of my fav players.. Im ok with the trade but it really sucks to him him go.. Best of luck to JJ

Sad day ...
Maybe he'll come back in the off-season? (I can hope can't I)

Thanks JJ! I was one of the few on here who wanted the Magic to draft you. Was a great ride. Hate to see you go. Thanks for staying loyal during your Orlando tenure. Good luck! We'll always be a Redick fan!

Re: The Farewell JJ Thread
We'll definitely miss JJ. I hope he doesn't stick around in Milwaukee and instead gets a chance to play on a real contender next year. Class act, hard worker, and I admire the work he put in to become the coveted player he is today. Chase the ring, JJ!

Re: The Farewell JJ Thread
All I can really say is JJ really proved me wrong about what I thought his career would end up like. I wish other NBA players were more like JJ and actually worked at becoming better in all facets of the game. Hopefully he comes back at the end of his career..

I can't be mad at this guy. It's weird for us to trade a core player and not hate him. All the best.

Re: The Farewell JJ Thread
Poor JJ. Now, he has to play behind two Ball Hoggs in Ellis and Jennings. Well, at least the Magic got something for him. Better than nothing.
Was a great fun watching him get better every year since his rookie season when I didn't think he would even stick in this league.

Re: The Farewell JJ Thread
Pretty much what HMass said.
Since he would have been such a great fit, I was hoping to see him land in San Antonio. But this probably nets us the best return.
Good luck to Mr. Redick! I'll be sure to wear my $10, green, JJ jersey on St. Patty's day with pride.
