I think the Bucks have been watching the attendance and figured the free stuff isn't needed. As has been said before on this board, the only people buying tickets are the business's that buy every year and the diehard fans that will show up no matter what the Bucks put out on the floor.
This very well could be. They have really cheaped out on everything. I got the print information today and it includes the invoice, a letter from Steinmiller, and a really vague color print of some of the benefits. In previous years it came in a nice folder with each benefit explained.
I think they're running out of answers to get people to the games. Its the direction of the organization. I can't even say the product is bad, its mediocre. People are sick of not making the playoffs, but then also not getting any star talent in the draft b/c of where we are picking.
My rep didn't even make a sales pitch when I said I was going to have to think about renewing. He was friendly as always, but almost defeated in that he's expecting people to not renew. Just my personal feel. I could be wrong.
