This is a vet team, I love Jackson but it really doesnt matter, the guys on this team have been there and done that, Warriors have a bunch of young players.

Ill pat myself on the back here

I wanted Jackson as our #1 option before we signed D'Antoni

He wanted the job too

granted he probably wouldnt have lasted through the darkness but I love the guys attitude and coaching

Me too, I remember getting mocked for it saying he's inexperienced and not an upgrade over D'antoni.

Warriors have been slumping due to their defense but it seems like that issue has been addressed. Can't say the same about our issues.

The best of us need motivation. Case in point, MJ needing Phil and the list goes on.

Players need every edge they can get, across all sports, so don't take your eyes off Woody.
I was behind him to start the season, but he has lost me over the last two months and I wonder
If he has lost some players as well.

That's all good and well except for the part where Jackson takes his starters out and subs in defensive bench players in crunch time more than any other coach.

In fact, he had just finished subbing out Landry right before he made that speech.

It's a nice speech, and probably pumped up his guys a little, but it's not indicative of him being a "real coach", especially since he doesn't follow his own advice.

This should be enough to lock the thread before more Woodson bashing goes on. Jeez. You know? DIG RED HOLZMAN UP FROM THE GRAVE AND GET HIM TO COACH! WHY DIDN'T THE KNICKS DO THAT INSTEAD OF HIRE WOODSON TO BE HEAD COACH?! RIDICULOUS! THE MOST IDIOTIC ORGANIZATION EVER!

SMDH.

Anway, Mark Jax is the man. Happy that team is doing well under his guidance.

LOL. Warriors fans HATED this guy last year, and the talent post Monta trade was still pretty much the same minus Steph being healthy now
